Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Yeah, incredible really o_O LOL! :D It's been a while since I've been ANYWHERE really, but I spent a couple of very hot summers in the Middle East, and others in Italy, France, and Spain. I never thought to check the temperature though! 😂

😂

That's an interesting comparison photo Jer, I definitely prefer the more angular nose :D
Strangely, these are all TEWs bought at almost the same time, but the little ones had the milksop slope and the big one had a coping chop. I didn't like that either, so I rounded it off while cropping it to State of Michigan length.

Nice work Jer  The difference is interesting, I think TEW were buying in knives for a number of years, even prior to selling their old factory, (which left them homeless for a couple of years). Now, they basically just have a warehouse, and seem to get them made wherever they can. Wright's even made some for them, but as you know, I suspect they have also gone further afield  I much prefer the wooden-handled and Bex models to the red plastic ones

Thank you. My handiwork often looks better to me later.

I was a little suspicious of their origins. The cards they were stuck to said made in England, maybe even Sheffield, but the knives?

I could live with the red plastic more happily than with the daring new handle shape!

Yeah, they're just moulded plastic, with a half-liner

Good morning Guardians. Hope everyone is staying cool. I doubt I’ll leave the house after lunch, but for now, the morning is nice and I’m enjoying it with my new Lambsfoot. It’s not a Barlow, but it’s a nice one. 😊👍View attachment 1874854
I haven't been out yet today (maybe this evening)! 😂 It's 102 outside now, but there's a possibility of thunder and lightning in an hour or so, according to the forecast, kind of crazy! o_O That looks good Todd, I'm glad you're enjoying the morning :)

Morning gents! I recently acquired my first lambsfoot and wanted to say hello 👋🏼 😁

Pretty nice aren’t they Jon? 😎👍

Thanks Jack. We won’t be any where near that hot here today, it’s the humidity that makes it miserable. The 100s are coming later in the week.
Mrs. Bigfish just made this egg, cheese, and avocado breakfast sandwich for me…I’m spoiled. 😊👍BCF88DA5-60CA-408D-ABB2-1261ACE5E5F1.jpeg

Yikes! Thankfully the humidity is not too bad here Todd  Enjoy your breakfast buddy, it's made for a nice pic  :)

Good morning Guardians, record-breaking night time temperature here last night. Can't say I had a great night's sleep, but I've slept worse. It's already in the 80's here, which I know is an everyday temperature for many of you folks, maybe even a low one  Due to climb to 102 in Leeds later, possibly as high as 104 😰 Hope everyone's week has got off to a good start, and that you had a great day :) I'm carrying my Charlie Lamb :)
Here’s to you and all the others as you deal with the heat, Jack.

A very nice first Lambfoot, Jon. Welcome.

Good Morning Guardians

Thank you, Jack. Hang in there mate.
Thanks Harvey, all's well here :) I was just thinking about maybe going out to a country pub for my tea, but the tarmac is melting, and there are quite a few fires apparently (none near me, so far as I know). I'll see if I can find something cold to eat! :D
