Sorry to hear that Steve, I hope that you have AC at leastIt's been pretty miserably hot here the last few days as well. Well over 100Β° F with the heat index and high humidity.
Wow! We're expecting highs of 101 today and tomorrow, but that's par for the course for south Texas in summer. But in your neck of the woods? Drink plenty of water! (And a little beer.)I haven't been out yet today (maybe this evening)! It's 102 outside now, but there's a possibility of thunder and lightning in an hour or so, according to the forecast, kind of crazy!
That looks good Todd, I'm glad you're enjoying the morning

Thank you John. That Jigged Trio is simply fabulous.![]()
That Lambfoot looks great.I just read on the headlines that UK is expected to break all kinds of temperature records![]()
Yes Ken, hottest UK nighttime temperature ever (it was 96 in Leeds, at midnight), and hottest daytime temperature ever (I think someone has just claimed 105, it was 102 in Leeds)I just read on the headlines that UK is expected to break all kinds of temperature records![]()
That was definitely the strangest thing about it Ken, and it's going be 80 at midnight tonightDuring the day is one thing but those temps not dropping at night is the killer for me. I remember the brutal summers in New York City where the night temperatures lingered around 85~90 degrees F. I remember having our window AC unit running at full power during the day and the room got down to nice and cozy 82 degrees. Oh and the humidity...flood of water down the exterior wall outside the window
Regardless, lots of water is a must! Good luck to you!
Stay cool and hydrated, Jack!!That was definitely the strangest thing about it Ken, and it's going be 80 at midnight tonightTt was in the 60's last week!
Thanks Ken, I'll be fine, they're forecasting high 70's tomorrow

A Lambsfoot loves to work! Thanks gents! Eager to put it to some good use.
Yikes!Don't feel too bad, my son is out doing drills and practicing for the competition tonight, and it's 108 degrees where he's at (Lawton Oklahoma).
Meanwhile, I'm thinking I need to turn the temp down on the air conditioning... it's up to 76 degrees in here.![]()
