Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

It's been pretty miserably hot here the last few days as well. Well over 100Β° F with the heat index and high humidity.

Sorry to hear that Steve, I hope that you have AC at least

I haven't been out yet today (maybe this evening)! πŸ˜‚ It's 102 outside now, but there's a possibility of thunder and lightning in an hour or so, according to the forecast, kind of crazy! o_O That looks good Todd, I'm glad you're enjoying the morning :)
Wow! We're expecting highs of 101 today and tomorrow, but that's par for the course for south Texas in summer. But in your neck of the woods? Drink plenty of water! (And a little beer.)

That's hot Vince! 😳 Yeah, none of my English ancestors saw these temperatures here, ever! 104 in London, where there are a bunch of fires, as there are elsewhere. There are barely any trains running, and the roads are melting! πŸ™„ I'm ok though, the mercury has dropped back to 98 now πŸ‘

Here's a great idea:

Though of course you can look at your computer, if you remember.

I just read on the headlines that UK is expected to break all kinds of temperature records

Yes Ken, hottest UK nighttime temperature ever (it was 96 in Leeds, at midnight), and hottest daytime temperature ever (I think someone has just claimed 105, it was 102 in Leeds) Nice to see your two-blade there my friend :)

During the day is one thing but those temps not dropping at night is the killer for me. I remember the brutal summers in New York City where the night temperatures lingered around 85~90 degrees F. I remember having our window AC unit running at full power during the day and the room got down to nice and cozy 82 degrees. Oh and the humidity...flood of water down the exterior wall outside the window 🀣

Regardless, lots of water is a must! Good luck to you!

That was definitely the strangest thing about it Ken, and it's going be 80 at midnight tonight  Tt was in the 60's last week! Thanks Ken, I'll be fine, they're forecasting high 70's tomorrow :)

Don't feel too bad, my son is out doing drills and practicing for the competition tonight, and it's 108 degrees where he's at (Lawton Oklahoma). 😲
Meanwhile, I'm thinking I need to turn the temp down on the air conditioning... it's up to 76 degrees in here. 🀣

Stay cool and hydrated, Jack!! 😲
Thanks a lot Charlie, staying hydrated at least! πŸ˜πŸ‘
Looking good Jon πŸ™‚πŸ‘
Thanks Jack, yes I do. It's a must have here although there are people that don't and I sure feel for them.

I hope your heat wave abates soon !
That's good πŸ™‚ There aren't many private homes with AC here, but that'll probably change over the next few years. Houses here, are built to keep heat IN, rather than let it escape 😳 Thanks Steve, the met office are now saying it's going to be down in the 60's again by Thursday, possibly with some rain! I might have to wrap up to go to the market! πŸ™„πŸ˜πŸ‘
Thanks gents! Eager to put it to some good use.
A Lambsfoot loves to work! πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘
