Well Guardians everything appears in order. Inspection went through with no issues. As long as the appraisal comes back good I will be packing up the wife and dogs to move into a home of our own come early September.

Good morning Guardians, and Happy Yorkshire Day! The sun is shining here, for once, and the celebrations are actually far more raucous than I had imagined! There are even folks celebrating in Lancashire apparently! Well done to all concerned!

New Sean Bean film out ( a bit long in my opinion, surprised he didn't lose his voice!) I can see where all the money's gone this year!

Good morning Guardians. Still lying low and taking it easy. I will attempt some light exercise today at our gym. My photo shows some of my favorite Bourbon but to be honest I haven't been allowed to have any so I have been sharing it with friends who happen by for a visit.

Happy Yorkshire Day, Guardians!

If that lady could make a chip butty in her car with Whataburger fries, I figured I had no excuses. I went to the store, looking for frozen chips to put in the air fryer. "Steak fries" are what I think are the closest thing here in The States, but I couldn't find any. They had shoestring potatoes, crinkle cut sweet potatoes, all manner of shapes of tater tots, but no steak fries. I wanted to go traditional this first time.

I settled on sliced new potatoes, roasted until crispy. Not traditional chips, but I did get the good butter and Hendersons, so I think I did alright. Paired with a sausage and some fresh made cole slaw, it was a fabulous lunch:

I've been the beneficiary of Jack's generosity too many times to enter the Yorkshire Day Giveaway for myself, but if it's okay, I'd like to enter for Crazy Canuck . It seems fitting, in light of his father's coincidental butty experience:

While we were at the cabin this week, my Dad was telling us about an amazing sandwich he'd had recently. While he was describing it, I realized he was talking about a Chip Butty! Figured it was a strange coincidence, as it was right after you'd posted the announcement. Now we have to have a go this weekend
