It's a pattern that was barely known in the USA a few years ago. If you go to the start of this thread, you'll find more information (and please read post 1)Interesting happenings over yonder.
Y’all got me looking at lambsfoots on the auction site. I’d never heard of it til I heard all of it here.
I did read post 1, and the whole first page for that matter. It’s an interesting pattern. Is it traditional to only have 1 blade? I seen a two blade model with pen secondary but let it go.So sorry Rachel, I just realised I missed this. I hope you enjoyed it! You can wait until Monday, or post pics now if you prefer

Well done, I hope you noticed the link to the thread index (though it only covers part of the thread I'm afraid)? It is most commonly seen (most commonly by far) as a single blade knife, but is also seen with a pen secondary. Rarely, it is seen with other blades.I did read post 1, and the whole first page for that matter. It’s an interesting pattern. Is it traditional to only have 1 blade? Glad you enjoyed itI ate my first chip butty and it was sublime. I used waffle cut and crinkle cut fries and wait for it…tater tot’s. It really didn’t need bacon. Picture on Monday.
Thank you, Jack. You're posting some great pics John
Thank you, Harvey.Keep it simple keeps it beautiful.
I like your Western rendition of a Chip Butty.
Looks like a fabulous and fun parade... Glad you got to go see it.I went over to the nearby North Yorkshire town of Harrogate for a few hours earlier, and thought I'd share a few photos of the carnival there. It was dull and overcast, and very humid, but the rain didn't start until after the parade was over at least, and it was only very light for the first hour.

After watching the parade, and having a look round the park, I went for a pint and a burger...

The burger wasn't great, so I thought I'd better go elsewhere for coffee and cake![]()

That lambsfoot is one beautiful knife Harvey. Great shots of it too.

Well done Tyson, that's quite a haul my friendMy wife and I ran over to the local "Taste of Britain" store to buy some brown sauce for our Yorkshire Day chip buttys. No Hendersons, unfortunately, so we went with HP Sauce, and consoled ourselves for the lack of Hendersons by picking up a few other tasty treats.

The lambsfoot pictured was along for the ride, not one of the treats from the store. (It would be pretty cool if they stocked lambsfoot knives, but I didn't see any.)
Thank you Dwight, that's a fantastic photoJack Black
Great celebration pics Jack! I love how folks over there take part in everything with passion. Very cool.
Have a great weekend all.View attachment 1885442

What a strange thing Barrett! Any idea how you may have contracted it?

alas... some people win the lottery... others, against all odds...It was bizarre, and I can’t say I’d recommend it.I got it from a mosquito bite. I even made the news — not by name, but because I was the first person in the county to get West Nile that year.

Thank you Dwight. Love the dark mood look of your JB Barlow image. That lambsfoot is one beautiful knife Harvey. Great shots of it too.

Thanks mate, big pub chain, the food is never great TBHLooks like a lot of fun, Jack!Sorry about the disappointing burger. We recently went to eat at a place we hadn’t been since before the pandemic, and I was disappointed to find that the prices were higher (ok, that part was to be expected), the portions much smaller, and the same burger I had enjoyed there before had almost no flavor.

That's very strange isn't it, maybe it wasn't a big seller compared to the more familiar products ? What a shameWhile I was out running errands today, I stopped in at a store where I’d hoped to pick up a Dandelion & Burdock to enjoy with my chip butty on Monday. Unfortunately, it seems that Fentiman’s (the brand of D&B I’ve had here before) may no longer offer it in the US. The shop I was at had seemingly every other variety of beverage they make, but no Dandelion & Burdock, and it’s not listed on the US version of their website.

I was wondering what the burger was for a minute, thinking it might be some other sort of potato dish!Good Evening Guardians
