Thanks for your sterling support on the chip butty front too, I guess it was a bit warm for Eleanor to wear her Yorkshire hat!I didn't even wear my flat-cap this year, which I think is a first

Good Morning Guardians
My wife had a hen party at the house yesterday, so I decided to head to the river for a little fishing in the evening. I have a little river that's just 20 minutes up the hill from me, I call it my "Home Hole". Normally the fishing is pretty bad, the place has gotten hit hard by COVID crowds, all trying to escape to the mountains. But they closed the campground for the whole year and the crowds have since left, which has improved the fishing. So Hooray, I actually caught a handful of nice little Trout yesterday before the mosquitoes drove me back to the Jeep. It was a lovely evening on the river, so peaceful and quiet in the mountains.

Just having a cup of Yorkshire Tea to put me in a trance-like stateβ¦
Right folks, I have done the draw! Apologies, once again, for not being able to accompany it with the usual bells, whistles, and drum-rolls, but the winner of the 2022 Yorkshire Day Chip Butty challenge is.....
Crazy Canuck !!
Congratulations Mike!I need to pick up a few more bits and pieces to go with your Rosewood Lambsfoot, and then I'll get it off to you. Are you still at the same address?

Thank you very much Dwight, I think I'll take your adviceJack Black
Jack thank you for the Yorkshire GAW. Really sorry to hear your back is worse. I prescribe something stronger than tea my friend. Feet up with three fingers (neat). --- Repeat---
I'm sure she'll be having a great time BarrettUnfortunately Eleanor wasnβt here to participate in this yearβs Yorkshire Day chip butty. Sheβs staying with my mom down in Arkansas this week.
Er...Not THAT cheap! How cheap are we talking?

That was actually one of the first pictures I took in Bath the first time we visited (other than a couple of Eleanor at the train station). We got in from London that evening, the girls went to the house, and my brother and I stopped to get takeaway for dinner. While we were waiting on the food, we ran to the shop across the street to grab a couple things. Grocery stores in other countries are always interesting, but the D&B definitely stood out as one of the most curious things I saw.![]()
Awww...Yes, time flies doesn't it my friend?Hereβs one of the pictures from the train station. Itβs hard to believe Eleanor was so little the first time we visited.

It's a pretty big seller these days I thinkI looked for Yorkshire tea, too, when I was at that shop the other day. (They have a decent selection of various international grocery items.) They had PG Tips and Ty-phoo, but no Yorkshire.
Thanks for the GAW Jackand congrats to Crazy Canuck !
