Sitting on my little porch with a view of Mt. Davidson, 66F with a light breeze. It’s like this in January and February to. 😃

Just popping in to wish everyone a good and safe weekend. Not much happening here, still moving some stuff then have to unpack, sort out repack and throw out.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:. But i have received in the mail a new sharpener that i wanted to try, only a cheap knock off, but once i worked it out boy does it get knives sharp, can only imagine what the genuine article is like, another expense i don't need. :eek::eek::eek:🥰. Have good one everyone, and Jack mate, hope your back improves. :thumbsup:😍.

Good morning Guardians, I hope your weekend is off to a great start. Another hot, sunny day here in Yorkshire. It's very unusual for us to have such a run of good weather. I'm stuck in front of my fan! 🙄 Got my Rosewood Big 'Un for company 😉 Enjoy your Saturday Guardians 👍

With the fine weather here, my neighbour has decided to have a barbecue (a cook-out to some of you folks). He came round to invite me, but I still can't walk, and am in pain, unfortunately. It's a real shame as he wanted me to meet his brother, and it's sure to be a great time. It's also sure to go on half of the night, so as well as being tortured by the cooking smells, I'll be kept awake by the music 🙄 Not often that you can organise an outdoor event here, and not have to factor in rain. The last time I had a barbecue, I had just put the second lot of burgers on the grill, when the heavens opened! 🤨

Jack Black Jack Black I'm very sad to hear about your back. I've back problems for years (including stretches where I needed a cane to walk) so I am very sympathetic. I know you're going a little stir crazy right now, but make sure you let it heal fully before you tear back into things. Get well soon - you need cake and we need to hear about The Further Adventures of the Toolman.

Thanks a lot Tyson, that's kind of you, and good advice. It's not been as painful today, and I'm desperate to get back to normality, and also enjoy some of the sunshine, but you're right, I do need to let it heal properly, frustrating though it is. I'm sorry to hear about your own back problems, I also needed a cane at one time, and I've been using one to help me get around the house this week. The Tool Man is certainly a character! 😁👍

I offered to lend him the Get Carter novel, I read in a few hours last week. He knows the film well, and I know he'd enjoy the book. He wouldn't entertain the idea though, telling me he hasn't read a book in 10 years 🙄🤣

Many thanks Harvey, the pain has eased a fair bit, but I still can't walk properly, and it's VERY boring ☹️👍
