Good Morning Guardians

Cool pic John!
I read probably longer ago than I think, that the Glock is the new 1911. People claiming there have been advances, and people claiming no advance on perfection is possible.
Let's not forget the 10mm.
I have a flat owb holster coming today for my Security 9. I find it awfully uncomfortable to carry even my .380 stuffed down my pants.
That's what I was thinking when John posted!
Happy Monday, Guardian’s. Hope everyone has a good start to the week. Nice scene here this AM

Best,

Nice pic Pete
Good morning (or afternoon which ever the car may be) Guardians. A little overcast here in NC but I got my 3 mile walk in and was able to make it over to the gym for some time on the stationary bike. Good start to the week, I think. Going to be carrying my HHB again. I has become and old friend now and monopolizes my pocket time over my other fine knives. If it is raining I usually don't carry it and go with something in stainless like my SAK.

It sounds like your recovery is going really well Bill, that's great to hear

Glad you enjoy your Hartshead Barlow so much
Hope this week is good for you, Jack.
Flitztastic, John.
Good Morning Guardians
Many thanks buddy, I love that pic
I'm doing just fine Jack. Thanks for asking my friend. I'm glad you are a "little" better. Hopefully soon it will be MUCH better!
I'm glad to hear it Dwight, and am grateful for the kind words
I hope everyone's week is off to a good start. I always find 'Bank Holiday Mondays', as they are known here, somewhat disorientating, and since I work for myself, they kind of mess up my week!

Obviously, most folks feel differently about them!

I managed to hobble down the road, to my favourite local cafe, which I've not been in for several weeks. Like most of the local businesses, the cafe was closed to the public today, with food and drink being served out on the pavement, but I was invited inside, and given free food and coffee. During Carnival, the local streets are completely transformed, free of cars, packed with people, and with every spare bit of pavement, yard, garden, and forecourt, covered with makeshift food stalls, barbecues, and bottle shops, each with their own sound system. After eating, I decided to finish my coffee outside, being entertained by an enthusiastic drum circle, before my mate, and his missus and kids, turned up. They live half a mile down the road from me, and the kids went back home for a toilet-break, while me and my pal sat on one of the concrete bollards blocking off the street, greeting friends and neighbours, and drinking beer. I don't know this feller from Adam, but spotted him, and told him I had a photo of him from 3 years ago, so I'll be emailing it to him shortly
When we heard the carnival parade approaching, my mate rang his missus to let her know, and we went to have a look. Unfortunately, we were well back in the crowd, and holding up my point and shoot camera with one hand, and hoping for the best, simply produced a bunch of blurred photographs

It was a long walk home afterwards!
