I don't get the point when people post their perfectly shiny non-stainless blade. If you want to keep it shiny, get stainless. But either way, use the darn thing.I get that some of our members like to over-think these types of things and they get into analyzing the smallest little details..
I've just never understood the mentality of not using a pocket knife for fear of dulling the blade. But... Different strokes for different folks.
For me, if I dull the blade, I'll just sharpen it up again,![]()
Yes. This exactly. These tools are meant for use. The two forums I frequent have this mental exercise going on which is cool. Just don’t mention ballistic comparisons of 5,56x45mm versus 5,45x39mm to anyone! Ever!I get that some of our members like to over-think these types of things and they get into analyzing the smallest little details..

How're you doing Dwight? Great pic
You tried one Tyson, I'm not sure I'd be bothered? I can buy Bushmills and Jameson's as cheap as the cheapest gut-rot Scotch, so they're my preferred whiskey for a Rusty NailYou're getting close to making an Irish Monk (Bushmills & Benedictine, equal quantities, on the rocks).

I read probably longer ago than I think, that the Glock is the new 1911. People claiming there have been advances, and people claiming no advance on perfection is possible.I lived through the whole .45 ACP versus 9mm debate (probably still going on in some quarters)!![]()
