Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Looks like the tool man had some good stuff for sale, hope you don't have too much of a headache from your run in with the beam. ;)
I thought so too Steve :) He was very pleased, as he has a big rally coming up at the weekend  Thanks pal, it certainly disorientated me for a while, but I think my cap stopped me being cut, and considering the force I hit the beam with, my headache is quite mild. A few months back, a lad cycled into the same beam, and was unconscious for ten minutes!

Beautiful at work shot, John.
Thank you, Harvey. :)
Handsome photo John
Thank you, Jack. :)
I last came into contact with one of these beams, but I found one today, just about eye-level
Ouch... Glad it didn't take you out.
Hopefully, I'll be fully recovered after a pie
Pie cures all. 🤠

Love the blade stamp, and the dark valleys and light ridges. 🤠
Good to see you're eating healthy. ;)

I told him he needs a pair of red braces to go with that shirt! :D
Definitely😂
Hopefully, I'll be fully recovered after a pie ;) :D
Glad you you didn’t sustain a concussion, but do self monitor, please. I remember getting a lollipop after the Dr’s visit. Two glazed doughnuts sounds better. Hope the meds get straightened out tomorrow.
Congratulations Harvey, that's a beauty, and it's nice to see a Lambsfoot blade stamp :)
Thank you Jack.

Me too, Tool Man and Fat Scott had a job getting me up as it was ! 😳 🤣
Pie cures all. 🤠
I reckon so, and just to make sure, I'm going for double pie - smoked cheddar and onion, with apple pie to follow! 😁;)
Good to see you're eating healthy. ;)
Thanks buddy 🤣;)
Definitely😂
He didn't get the reference unfortunately! :D

Thanks Harvey, I did actually have a (ice) lollipop afterwards! :D That's quite a rare thing for me :)

the nearest I've come to being knocked unconscious! A couple of seconds passed, and I did a slow motion collapse, like I'd just been chinned by a heavyweight with brass knuckles!
Ouch!! I hope you've recovered fully, Jack!! 😲
You'd think their insurance would make them correct those cross-beams!!

Thanks Charlie, Leeds City Council would probably try dumping the claim on the stall-holders! Those cross-beams have been a menace for years :thumbsup:

I'm recuperating with pie! :D Henderson's, and an Aussie Chardonnay, on the side ;)

I feel great now... Hope you do too.
Thanks John, doing OK thanks :) Hope your week is going well, nearly the weekend ;)
Good day Guardians. Working through the day but enjoying comfortable footwear. No field work today. View attachment 1917533
I was just thinking, those look REALY comfortable :D :) Blood Lamb is looking good too :)
That’s one cool map and one cool dinner.
Thank you very much Harvey, the map is going up on the wall :)

Tool Man just gave me a ring, to see if I was OK, and we were joking about how hard my head hit the stall today! He said it wasn't just the noise of my poor old napper making contact, but the vibration, which he says shook the entire 4 stalls, with everybody in the surrounding area looking to see what on earth was going on! I think I must have just been lucky in not cutting my head, and while I felt a bit strange for a while, I feel OK now

Another gorgeous image Harvey  Nice TEW
Thank you kind sir.
Very cool Lambsfoot, Dwight.
Thank you very much John.
I am very excited about re-acquiring a very special airgun that I sold to a close friend. It is a Theoben SLR98 with a very stunning Hyedua wood stock. There weren't many Hyedua stocks made for Theobens and the wood has since been forbidden to be harvested in Africa where it grows in the wild. Short video of airgun if you a so inclined:
Bill that air gun is spectacular. What a gorgeous stock. I've never seen that wood before. Congratulations on your repossession of it.
Fine, Fine image Dwight
Thank you Harvey!

Magnificent piece. What glorious jigging!

I'm glad you survived the impact Jack. And remember..., a head like that is just naturally gonna hurt a little...😉🤣😎

Thanks Jack! ASICS makes great shoes, very comfy
I've had them in the past Pete, and found them very comfortable. They fit my feet :) Unfortunately, the last time I wore some was about 5 years ago. I was going for a walk in an area near a town about 30 miles away from where I live. The weather was good, and I thought 'I don't need boots, I'll put on that pair of Asics I used to run in, I haven't worn them for a few years.' I went over to this town, Wakefield, and had breakfast at a nice cafe, Looking down, I was horrified to see the sole was hanging off one of the shoes! Then I saw the other was just the same. I didn't want to miss my walk, but there weren't many options in this small town, in terms of replacing the Asics. I ended up buying a pair of Salomon trail-running shoes, twice the price of the Asics, and a size down from what I usually wear. I got my walk, but I've only worn those shoes once or twice since, and the Asics got binned, so it was an expensive day!
