Based on my new diet I would only be permitted the tomato and mushrooms. However, I cheat. Great shot of your HHB my friend.I've just had a walk down to Charlie's cafe, and back, which must be a mile and a half, so that wasn't too bad. I am only limping slightly now, and the pain is mild. I had a good second breakfast in between, and really enjoyed it, but I fogot to take a pic I'm afraid. I'll see if I can find an old one![]()
I do like the neighbourhood I live in, it's a very friendly area, and I half a dozen quite lengthy chats along the way

Strangely, this seems to be the only photo I have of a Charlie's Cafe breakfast, and the one I just enjoyed was substantially bigger, with twice as much of everythingI actually get the vegetarian breakfast there, as I don't care for the turkey sausages they do. The vegetarian ones aren't great either, but overall it's not a bad breakfast, and the coffee is great

People love to "react" to things, hopefully it will return to normal there quickly enough.
Congrats on the Charlie Lamb... It's so elegant.
Isn’t that the truth. I’m convinced that many go through life looking to be upset by something or somebody each day. It’s a shame. We all have a choice to make each morning whether to be happy or not.People love to "react" to things, hopefully it will return to normal there quickly enough.
I tell my boys all the time that we "choose" how to feel about things... and misery loves company. We all have a choice to make each morning whether to be happy or not.
It must be joyous to find a lost knife... Glad it turned up again.
Oh no!Based on my new diet I would only be permitted the tomato and mushrooms. However, I cheat. Great shot of your HHB my friend.

Nice photo Jack. Sounds like you managed to have a pleasant morning in spite on the circumstances.Good morning Guardians, and welcome to the weekendI hope everyone made it through the week OK, and that you're looking forward to doing something enjoyable, even it's just having a beer, and putting your feet up, accompanied by a Lambsfoot of course
I don't have anything planned myself, rather unusual circumstances here at the moment, but I might have a hobble down to Charlie's cafe, and see my friends there
Hope you have a great Saturday Guardians

Congratulations on the Charlie Lamb. Major find. Cool images.I hate to hear that you have cut ties with that company because that sure is a pretty knife and where ever you picked up that sambar stag someone knew how to pick it out
As a barber I like to collect trinkets of the trade from years gone by, this is a solid brass spring loaded bleeder , used in the not so distant past in a barbershop just down the street from where I practice today!
Oh yeah….. this is unveil of my new Charlie Lamb!!!
Good morning and I hope everyone has a great start to their weekend!View attachment 1926099View attachment 1926100

Great looking Lambfoot image, Todd, and wonderful images of the fun activities.Last night we went to the St. Louis Art Show. Didn’t get any pictures of the art, some of the artists are funny about people taking pictures of their work. This was taken by the main stage where a band was playing (to the right and out of the frame). I was trying to show how many people were around the food and beer tents. We’ve been attending and meeting the same friends for years, so we know that the lines are much shorter for beer up the street where the art tents are. Seems most folks come for the party and not the art!The weather was great, the beer was cold, and I had a great cigar. Maybe I go for the party more than the art also.
