Beautiful flock already Steve. The spalted lamb is dreamy...

Good morning Gaurdians ! Thank you all for the kind words about the new Charlie Lamb, there were some very very nice Lamb Foot knives posted yesterday!
Good morning Guardians, and welcome to the weekend ;) I hope everyone made it through the week OK, and that you're looking forward to doing something enjoyable, even it's just having a beer, and putting your feet up, accompanied by a Lambsfoot of course :) I don't have anything planned myself, rather unusual circumstances here at the moment, but I might have a hobble down to Charlie's cafe, and see my friends there :) Hope you have a great Saturday Guardians

I just love these HHB , timeless !
After 5 years of establishing a good relationship with the old gaffer, it was a shame. The new management quickly broke the guarantees they'd made to me, about reproducing my ideas and patterns, and I had no option but to sever ties with them. If not for that, I'd still be doing the non-profit SFOs for the Guardians.

Congratulations on your Charlie Lamb, it's a beauty. Interesting pic too ๐Ÿ˜Ž My barber also collects old tools of the trade, as well as knives, his shop hasn't changed for decades. I'm just having breakfast in a cafe, but when I get back home I'll post a few pics ๐Ÿ‘

Edit - Here are a few pics of Barber Brian's shop in Leeds market :) A shame I didn't get a photo of his old till, or even older till, I should say. He had replaced it not long before I took these photos

Here, as it was in the 1960's. I don't think it's changed too much. The prices have gone up, but they're still very fair

It looks like your Barber is continuing a long standing tradition and helping preserve the past wether he knows it or not . Barbering is a dying trade in the States with cosmetology far surpassing us in numbers . But I guess if you live long enough you always outlive your purpose ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ
Isnโ€™t that the truth. Iโ€™m convinced that many go through life looking to be upset by something or somebody each day. Itโ€™s a shame. We all have a choice to make each morning whether to be happy or not.

Big one in water buffalo today. Our movers found this one. It fell out of the couch when they were getting it out. Lucky for me! ๐Ÿ€

You got lucky! Many a pocket knife has been eaten by furniture ha! Very pretty Buffalo horn!
Good morning Guardians. Lots to do around the house today, this one will be close at hand if not in the pocket. View attachment 1926269
Last night we went to the St. Louis Art Show. Didnโ€™t get any pictures of the art, some of the artists are funny about people taking pictures of their work. This was taken by the main stage where a band was playing (to the right and out of the frame). I was trying to show how many people were around the food and beer tents. Weโ€™ve been attending and meeting the same friends for years, so we know that the lines are much shorter for beer up the street where the art tents are. Seems most folks come for the party and not the art! ๐Ÿ˜„ The weather was great, the beer was cold, and I had a great cigar. Maybe I go for the party more than the art also. ๐ŸคฃView attachment 1926270
The bone on this lamb is outstanding , was this an SFO or did you get lucky and land one that pretty just off the line ?
Good Morning Guardians
I've got a benefit corn hole tournament tomorrow, so getting in a little practice while it's cool outside.

Nice knife !! I hope you didnโ€™t get hustled yesterday! Lol. I grew up pitching horse shoes so now my buddies make fun of the way I toss the corn hole bags. They say I still throw like I am throwing shoes ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ
I know you will have an active and fun day, Jack, despite all the hullabaloo.

Congratulations on the Charlie Lamb. Major find. Cool images.

That must have felt. Such a beautiful Lambfoot, too, Pete.

Great looking Lambfoot image, Todd, and wonderful images of the fun activities.

Good Morning Guardians
If that knife could talk think of the stories it could tell! Would that be considered a blonde Buffalo horn ?
Youโ€™re just showing off ๐Ÿ˜œthat is a beautiful piece! Fantastic stag!!
Happy Saturday Guardians

I thought I would have a gathering of the Lambs today :)

Great collection!!! How old do you suppose the top two are ??
Something about the lines on these lamb foot knives , they photograph so well! Add a little cool lighting and you get a great picture !! Pretty scales on this one !
Very pretty ! Canโ€™t wait to see that stag yellow over time ! I love the way stag ages when itโ€™s handled a lot !
Getting a good vibe from the new house. Mature trees front and back. Blood lamb back in the groove.

See you Monday @TXGatorbait
