Interesting to see you giving it a go Sceva, I don't think anyone would object to you making some modsOK; Some new pics of my A. Wright; the pipe holder belonged to my maternal Grandfather and holds a lot of memories from my childhood playing with it.
I did a little more work on the Senator radiusing the bolster corners a little. I(t may be a big no no to a collector but I use my knives and the slight rounding makes it a a little more pocket friendly aw well as feeling and looking better to me.

You can kind of see why the Lambsfoot was such an Australian success story!

Even the poorest Sheffield homes had excellent cutleryBack then because of our still very strong links to the Mother Country, nearly all of our cutlery/ knives came from England/Sheffield. I am only guessing, but i would say 90% +. Even when i was a kid, nearly everyone received a Cutlery set from Sheffield as an engagement or wedding present. There was one in every house i ever entered.
LOL!Look like an old " Bover Boys Skinhead Gang From The 70's. "![]()
Have a great Spring and Summer LeonFirst day of our Spring when i could pull out the shorts. Very late for us..
Thanks Dwight, I hope you get some cooler weather soon my friendNow that's top notch improvisation my friend.

Oh no!The you know what may have hit the proverbial fan over here. Optus, our second largest telco has been hacked with personal details of up to 9 million customers breached. That is more than 1/3rd of out total population and probably close to a half of phone/internet users. As usual, only found out through the media without any word from Optus, don't know how i will fare, but it would be good company policy to let us know. Not happy.![]()

Fine images from the market, Jack. Have a good “flop”I had a nice day at the market today, though a tiring one. Tool Man had a lot of sales, and we had chips and gravy for lunchI was quite struck by a Brades sickle he had, but couldn't justify buying it, even at a very fair price
I liked the brass bell too!

Hope everyone has had a good day
I think I'll be flopping on the sofa this evening!

Thank you for the kind words, Jeremy. Still think your image was very nice. Thanks Harvey. If I could even have half the quality of the pictures you post I’d be doing great.
Interesting to see you giving it a go Sceva, I don't think anyone would object to you making some modsThat pipe holder is a nice memento
When I was a boy, I remember we had my mother's grandfather's old pipe, with a bowl carved in the shape of a dog's head. My father didn't think it smoked very well, but it sat, unused, on his pipe rack for a few years. The 60's and 70's were a time, here, when everyone wanted new, rather than old, things, and so much was burned, or thrown away, including thousands of old pianos for example. I think the old pipe was probably thrown out, sadly

Looks like a fine morning, Dwight.
I'd call it a Lambsfoot too... If it doesn't fit the exact definition, I'd say it's close-enough. I really like the swedge too.
Great picture, Todd.
Great pictures, Jack.

Cosimo did a nice job Jean-Marc, you have something unique thereHello Jack,
I've sent a picture of your Hartshead Barlow and Cosimo made his interpretation of it
Handle in Bocote and blade in RWL34.
I confirm , it's a great knife
Cheers
JM
Cool image, Jack.
Thanks Harvey, I definitely needed a rest!Fine images from the market, Jack. Have a good “flop”
Wonderful photo my friend, that jigging is amazing
I think it's an improvement, but also you've made it your ownThanks Jack; I think I have it where I want it, It just feels more user friendly to me now; not to mention easier on a pocket. It wasn't that it had really sharp corners; just a little too angular and not rounded enough to suit me. I did not totally round the ends, I just rounded the corners more and polished to match.
The pipe holder; Cline was my Grandfathers name and he band my grandmother died a month apart at the end of 1982. The pipe holder is not monetarily valuable but it's priceless to me.
Here is the knife with better photos.
