Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone has had a good week. I'm due to get my flu shot and 4th anti-Covid shot today, having lunch with my pal first, all being well. It looks like a nice day here, so far, weather-wise, though it's definitely getting cooler. I hope y'all have a good Friday to round the week off. I have The Chieftain in my pocket today

That sounds nice, Dwight... same thing happening here.
It went from being 110 degrees to mid 80s seemingly overnight.

I love running across those little painted rocks on my adventures.
I often find them along one of the rivers that I fish and often wonder who plants them there.

My wife and I are taking off today for a weekend trip to our third favorite place. Our Favorite is Home of course, Second is Disneyland, and Third is the little town of McCloud. McCloud is an old logging company town way up in Northern California. My Dad grew up in the area and my Grandfather worked for the logging company. It's more of a sleepy town and vacation spot now, but a lot of the old buildings are renovated and used today. I've posted pictures of our trips there before, and I'll be sure to post pictures of this one too. Looking forward to some great fishing, sitting on the big porch in front of the Mercantile, sipping soda pop, enjoying an ice cream, and visiting with the locals. It's a great place to go and relax.

I had a nice day at the market today, though a tiring one. Tool Man had a lot of sales, and we had chips and gravy for lunch I was quite struck by a Brades sickle he had, but couldn't justify buying it, even at a very fair price I liked the brass bell too! Hope everyone has had a good day I think I'll be flopping on the sofa this evening!

I hope everyone is having a great day I had quite a busy one, with a lot of walking, and was out of the house 6 or 7 hours. After having lunch with my pal, I had to wait around for a couple of hours for my Covid jab, which I had booked a few days ago. When I got to the front of the queue, I was informed they "weren't equipped" to give them out at that branch, and by this time it was too late to book one elsewhere I once worked in a pharmacy in war-torn Beirut, and there was considerably less chaos than in that place!
