They say 12 months is a long time in politics. !2 months ago we were not allowed outside the front door, in 2 weeks time all bets are off. Unless your are in a hospital work place all restrictions off. As long as you are not getting any worse, that is a positive, no pun intended.

I thought a WEEK was a long time in politics (a phrase used by former British prime minister Harold Wilson)! I guess 12 months is a much longer time (in politics, or anything else)! Good luck with everything Leon, I hope it all goes OK

LOL! It's amazing how much that quote, which doesn't really mean a great deal, is still used here I was looking at this statue of Harold Wilson in the square outside the railway station in Huddesrsfield, where Wilson was born, one time. I got chatting to an old lad in his 90's, and I said it was strange he didn't seem to have his trademark pipe with him, but perhaps he was just retrieving it from his pocket. The old boy told me that when the statue was first erected, the joke was that at least he was putting his hand into his OWN pocket, for once!

Good morning. Worked last couple of days cleaning up the old house’s yard. Turning over the keys today. Pretty darn good feeling. Thinking about those in Florida, hoping for the best. Some of our electric crews are there now assisting.

Thanks Jack - this old truck resides out on my daily walk with hundreds of other old junk and artifacts on the ranch at the end of our road.

Nice bit you posted up on Harold Wilson. Harold has an interesting history. Wilson was PM of UK twice in the 60s and 70s and also
a Baron - Baron Harold Wilson of Rievaulx. A liberal politician that was successful during his terms. He had an interesting history.

I'm looking forward to my first big train trip this Summer... to Omaha and Back.
I'll be headed out to Omaha for one son's graduation, and then heading back home for my other son's graduation.
It's a two day train trip out to Omaha, The longest I've ever been on a train before has been a couple of hours.

Just showing this one again. It's really grown on me; I may need another Lambs Foot or two down the road. I know that some don't like the Senator pattern but I do; specially after I smoothed it up some to suit me. I also like the barlow type patter such as the Hartshead etc but they are out of my budget at the moment ( and no longer for sale) ; maybe down the road though.
