Are you sure you didn't buy an apple cobbler? Those are better than pie, anyway.I was disappointed with the apple pie though, which was so crumbly, I had to eat a 'slice' with a spoon!Hope everyone is having a good day

Thanks, Harvey! I had trepidations about posting my face, but at my age, I just don’t worry about things I can’t fix.
Best wishes for the Better Half, sir.I'm quarantined for several days - my wife tested positive for COVID!! I'm negative so far, but who knows?? I'm filling in time posting some past pictures from my burgeoning pile!!
In earlier days when I was catching on to how great Lambfoot blades perform, I carried Big Rosie for a while - long enough to gain respectable patina anyways!!View attachment 1950784
You did a mighty fine job on replacing the handles Jeff. Beautiful. Thanks, Dwight! After Harry, Old Engineer , let me fiddle around with his Taylor’s Eye Witnesses, I jumped at the chance to bid on this one. Best of all, the knife was hardly used, but the Bexoidscales were broken and no one else bid on it. I used some black walnut I’d had in a box since the ‘80s that I picked up down your way when I lived down there. It’s a small scrap cut off of a fancy gun stock blank at Bishop’s Gunstocks, in Warsaw, Missouri
That is a gorgeous picture Harvey! And the knife image is nice too.
I hope Mrs Waynorth doesn't suffer too much with it Charlie and hopefully you will stay in the clear.I'm quarantined for several days - my wife tested positive for COVID!!
Love the truck and the knife. You did a mighty fine job on replacing the handles Jeff. Beautiful.
And you take a much better picture than I do but not much can be done about it. I like your hat.

I feel the same way, Jeff. At the same time, I find it facinating to match the faces with the names. It gives me another dimension of understanding of those I interact with.I had trepidations about posting my face, but at my age, I just don’t worry about things I can’t fix.
Love that beard, my friend. Mine was just about that long until last weekend. But it grows back with a vengeance.
Thank you Dwight.. Great portrait and truck image. That is a gorgeous picture Harvey! And the knife image is nice too.![]()

HaHa! I bought mine at Tractor Supply but I'd bet it was made south of the Rio Grande.Thank you, Dwight! And I love YOUR hat.
Sure are some handsome dudes in here lately!
Any chance you got it in Mexico? Mine came from a little booth on a side street in Playa Del Carmen back in the early ‘90s, before it became a tourist spot.
Thank you Harvey.Thank you Dwight.. Great portrait and truck image.

Best wishes for the Better Half, sir.
When my sister got slammed with that first variant, her husband tended to her, even kept right on sleeping in the same bed, and he never caught it. Hope you fare as well.

Hope it's sorted for you now LeonAnyone else having trouble posting. My Bladeforums seems all over the place. Probably just me though.
That's some nice patina
I have a friend, a bit vainer than he ought to be, who had a car crash about 10 years back, and had a small scar on his forehead, which is now long gone. For a former Paratrooper, he sure did whine about it, and wouldn't leave the house. I was trying to get him to come for a drink, and rather distraught, he proclaimed, "I'm so ugly!" I told him, "Come and sit next to me mate, you'll look better!"Thanks, Harvey! I had trepidations about posting my face, but at my age, I just don’t worry about things I can’t fix.
