Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Lambsfoot helping install some new flooring. I'm reminded yet again why I hate the click-lock style flooring. An engineers dream and a contractors nightmare. o_O

That's very kind Dwight, I'm sure Harvey would have made that doughnut look even tastier! :D

That is such a beautiful image Dwight, quite spellbinding  Amazing colours, and I love the multi-layered effect you've created :)

I have almost no experience of Snakewood Ed, but I've seen Ironwood develop small fissures, like my Lucy's bite-marks. I think L lambertiana is extremely knowledgeable about wood. I hope your repair job works OK (can't see why it wouldn't). I have a Snakewood model with some cracks, but they occurred at the factory, and I got it cheap as a second.

Why not?! :D

About an hour ago, I noticed the kids outside were out in the garden, so I thought I'd take them my Halloween candy, but by the time I got my boots on, they'd gone back inside! I'd also noticed a few friends across the road having a beer round a fire, and took a 6-pack out with me, but after I went out, they'd wandered down to a much bigger blaze a few streets down. I don't recall it ever being so mild in November here, and most of the large trees which abound on my street, have barely shed their leaves, so while the fusillade of fireworks continues unabated, the view of them from the street isn't actually that good. I stayed out for a while talking to a couple of neighbours, but I think I'm going to watch a movie now :) Hope everyone is having a great Saturday

Snake wood is prone to cracking. That is why I don’t have any. Plus, it loses the pattern over time.

I will never catch up on the posts in here, but still carry my AC daily. Out on a scout hike at Kennesaw Mtn today!

Great to see the two of you here Jody :) Hope you had a great hike :)
A brilliantly written description of events, Jack.
Thank you Harvey, it got a bit crazy about 8.00pm! :D I'm not sure which of my neighbours were letting off fireworks, but they were VERY close. Still plenty going off, but they're a little further away

Thank you for the information my friend, that is news to me. It's pricey stuff too :( I hope you're keeping well :)

Beautiful color.

Like John said... a Harvey worthy one.

I admire your optimism John.

I know the feeling John, I've got a bunch I need to catch up with today. I hope you managed to get everything done  That's a great pic, nice to see you're keeping that horn lubricated! :D
How're you finding that one Jer?
Thank you buddy! Cool pic. Every boy should have a Lambsfoot and a copy of The Boys Own Annual.
Definitely! :D

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is having a great weekend :) Here, old Guy Fawkes has been laid to rest for another year! :D I was invited out for a drink today, but I have too many other things to do, at home, so I'm going to try and get through a few of those. Enjoy your Sunday Guardians :)

I could get used to carrying a Big 'Un, it's a very sturdy knife. 🤠

I planted that Maple so I'd get some color every year... the Oaks just turn Brown. 😁
I don't know about you, but that picture makes me want to get outside and take a hike. 🤠

It's been months since I was last able to get out :( I hope I can go for one soon

I decided to give my Hartshead Barlow a sharpen, and a drop of oil :) I haven't had my Sharpmaker out for a while, and since I decided to do so, I thought I'd give my AC a tickle too :)

When I was uploading the pic, I couldn't help but be struck by the similarity of this one from January 2020! :D
