It sounds like the AC would be more to your liking, closed length is 3 1/4"Only 27 of those were made though, compared to 97 Hartshead Barlows. Since I subsidised the original prices, (ie I sold them for less than they cost me to get made), I would hope that anyone who feels a need to pass theirs on, would do so at a reasonable price

Thank youVery Nice, A perfect size as far as my likes. With only 27 made though I'll likely never see one I could swing.
I've just been going through a bunch of knives, and it's depressing not being able to carry them allThanks Jack. I try to carry a something other than Jake every once in a while.

Thanks Harvey, to say I haven't been out today, I've been quite busy. Not only have I run out of book cases, but I've run out of knife storage too, so I've been looking at various storage options. Hope you're having a nice day yourselfWhat an active day you’re having, Jack. Good for you.

I have about half my collection stored in cigar boxes, which I used to buy, for a small amount, from a local tobacconists. The best ones, I find, are Charatan boxes, as they have an internal tray (the best being their Tubed Churchill size). Unfortunately, the tobacconist closed down a few years ago, and it has been less easy for me to buy them. Looking online, I see some folks selling them at prices of up to £25! I have found a less expensive source, but it's unclear if the boxes come with the trays, and they are still not particularly cheap. I've been looking at various engineer's chests, and artist's storage boxes, but I know from experience, that they are not always very good quality. I'm sure I'll find something thoughThank you Jack. Let us know what storage solutions you come up with.
Wonderful lamb....one never knows when a wild envelope decides to attack.I'm not carrying this one but it's on my desk for a quick pick-up should something come up.

Very nice stag on your senator. Our group rule is ...unless it's snowing you better be there.Good afternoon Guardians or good evening which ever it may be. Washout today and we are heading into some cold weather. No golf today and my rule is if it doesn't get out of the 40's then I don't play. We get way too many nice days to golf for me to freeze on the links. Any how, I've got some indoors projects to keep me out of trouble. I'll be carrying my Senator today.View attachment 1989518
Life's too short to be freezing on a golf course. Why spoil a good walk.No golf today and my rule is if it doesn't get out of the 40's then I don't play. We get way too many nice days to golf for me to freeze on the links.
Why spoil a good view by exercising? Just sit and relax and take in that view...Why spoil a good walk
