Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Hopefully Bob! :D

Thanks Todd, some Talisker in there ;)

I thought I'd got myself a great solution to my knife storage needs this morning, when I purchased an inlaid mahogany cutlery cabinet from a seller on ebay. Doors on the front, 3 felt-lined drawers inside, already compartmentalised. The price included free postage :) But then the seller, who seems to be an antique dealer, telephoned me to ask me to pick it up from the other side of the country! As I couldn't do that, he cancelled the sale, telling ebay it was out of stock/had been damaged! 🤨

Time for a sausage sammich!

Sorry for your unfortunate dealings on ebay. May the hunt continue with better results.

🤬 eBay can be a real crap shoot for sure.

Looks great, that’ll brighten things up Jack. 😊👍

Good plan Bill, I hope you get a better day soon :) Cool pic

Looking good Jeremy 😎

Not sure really Harvey, I'll just have to see what I can pick up, I'd like to get a couple of hundred knives in there, if possible, which might make some of the items I've looked at unsuitable because of the weight. Hoping I can find something I can put on top of a bookshelf

Rosie is looking good Steve, hope you're not snowed in buddy :) It rained heavily all night here, but is down to a fine drizzle now

Seems like a lot of snow is falling in Guardian land! It's nice to see your '19 David :)

Thanks a lot Todd :)

LOL! :D You too Todd, funny pic my friend :)

Thanks Dwight, those gorgeous colours really show off your vintage Barlow, great pic :)

Good morning Guardians, the weather isn't great here again, but I have to stay in for a couple of deliveries. I've got plenty of other indoor stuff to do too. Hope everyone is having a decent week, and that the weather is treating you kindly. Life is so much better with a Lambsfoot isn't it? ;) I'm carrying my Hartshead Barlow again today :) Have a good day Guardians

Thanks Jack. Your Hartshead Barlow and the juice in your flask should make for a good day.

Amazing what pickles will do in one day.View attachment 1990169
That patina is coming along! Your post minded me of another Pickles, a controversial Yorkshire judge! :D
Looking good Jer, I always enjoy carrying the '18 :)

Thanks Jeremy, I have been somewhat off the juice since my bout of Covid the other month, but persevering! :D ;)

A frustrating conclusion, but it sounds like your storage solution is coming into focus. A need to store that many knives doesn’t sound like something you can place on top of a case. A cutlery cabinet would be outstanding. My money is on you being successful in in your quest. Hope you enjoy your sammich.

Love that dark wood, Todd.
Brilliant shot, John.
Good morning all.

Bog wood in a sweet slip made by Jeremy. Thanks my friend!

Sweet combo, Pete. Fine image, too.

Thanks Harvey, hopefully I can find something suitable. I'm not sure how many knives I have, but I stopped counting when it went past 1000 around years ago. I'm quite happy with the way in which most of them are stored, but I do need to think about expanding my storage, even though I should really just stop buying knives! :D
Good Morning Guardians💂‍♀️
Great photo of a very handsome knife my friend :)
