Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Dwight, so sorry for your loss. We had the same experience back in the summer when we lost our longtime Maltese, Giada Girl. She was in so much pain that it was a blessing to let her go, but still very tough. We have a favorite picture of her as our desktop background and cherish her memory every day.

As wonderful as the Charlie lambs are, I had both and let them both go to new owners. RALF and I formed a bond which just could not be broken. He now shares pocket time with my new Benini stag custom, his rich cousin from overseas.

Thank you Jack.

Thank you J.D.

Much obliged Steve.

Thank you Duncan.

Very nice! I love smooth white bone.

Gorgeous stag Bob.

Rich color and texture on a fab lamb.

Love this image Steve.

It's been a rough beginning to 2023. Cherri and I held Willow (see avatar) last night until she drew her last breath. Words cannot describe the loss we feel right now but time will help with the healing. This is the payment we all must remit for the joy they bring into our lives. RIP sweet little one.

Beautiful pictures, Jack, thanks for sharing. We also love checking out lighthouses in our travels.

I’ve been negligent in posting here, hope everyone had a great holidays and your new years are off to a good start.

I miss the days before they were automated Jeremy, though I imagine many lighthouse keepers do not! :D Have you read any of Bella Bathurst's books (possibly a TV series on lighthouses too)? Your Damascus Lamb looks great with that excellent mug! :D
Gotta get me some of them Czech Budweisers!
They're about a thousand times better than the other ones I think Vince! :D
Evening Guardians! 19 taking care of business today. 🤠

Looking good David :)
There sure are some fine ebony Waynorth lambs shown lately so I'll repost mine from the other day.View attachment 2035883
You take a beautiful photo Dwight :)
My A Wright & Son lamsfoot turned up at the start of the week. There are no doubt some issues with fit and finish and if I tried using the nail nick my nail would depart my finger. There was still a burr on the blade too, but I touched it up to hair shaving sharp and to be honest for 45 quid posted to Aus its a decent working knife and I'm happy with it.

The one true disappointment is that they have "made in sheffield" stamped on the blade but nothing about the brand.
Sorry to hear about the issues Jack, not uncommon unfortunately :( If you flush out the joint with oil and canned air, you'll probably find a lot of muck comes out of it. You can find lots of other tips on bedding it in in the forum index, which is linked to from post #1 of this thread
Have a good one at the market Jack. 🤠 Try to keep Tool Man on the straight and narrow. 🤣
Thanks David, easier said than done! :D He was telling me about emailing an online retailer, and having not received a reply. I asked him if he had checked his 'Spam' folder, which led to a very long, frustrating, and ultimately fruitless, conversation, as he not only had absolutely no idea what I was talking about, but refused to learn! o_O😝
Good morning Guardians. Another warm day outside. Going to pick up some new chairs that we ordered for our sunroom; about a year ago! They finally came in. Got my Senator to help unpack them.
