I tried to get the blade edges parallel…I was thinking of not getting shield and keeping more traditional and then thought I’d like a shield like the one on the pruner that is two pieces of metal and we went with this one. And the covers were going to be cocobolo that was jigged. He picked up some nice mammoth and we went with that.

Glad to hear all y'all out west are managing. I have a big old maple overhanging my bedroom and really hate to see/hear about houses getting smushed by trees
