Oh you Teddy Boys!
It must be fun trying to type after you, Todd.Nice image.
I'm not entirely sure Harvey, as we were never actually anywhere near his stall! If it is his stall, it certainly used to belong to someone else. It sells herbs and spices, a range of chillis, and unusual vegetables, but I have never seen naan bread being sold there. Perhaps it has changed handsIn the end, was he selling Naan?![]()
I think I would get them a bad name!Oh you Teddy Boys!![]()
Looks like you're eating well my friend
Lol...
Sounds like fun was had by all at the Market today.
I think your keyboard has seen better days.
Call my crazy, but I'm "nuts" about your picture, Harvey.
Some how you find a way to surpass the last photo you take.

Darn it if my boiler hasn't stopped working again tonight! And I can't ring a plumber as I finally have a dental appointment tomorrow morning
I'll have to wait until the afternoon, but it could be Monday until I can get someone out
Thankfully, I, at least, have some alternative heating, and I still have some moderately warm water
Think I might start tomorrow off with this 'un
Hoping the weather is going to clear up a bit before then

That's about 90 years older than my radiators, and last renovation Jer!I had steam radiators in my old house, but not for long. The furnace guy and my home inspector agreed that the furnace was unsafe. It had been converted from oil to gas, after being converted from coal to oil. The house already had ductwork for hot air, though. It had been built with a choice, in 1898.

That's the Boy Scout training Jer!If I were going to Dracula's castle, I might bring a cross so I wouldn't have to mock one up.
I wonder how many of these direct uploads I can do, while Imgur is pretending to add my pics but saving blanks.View attachment 2043945

Quite a good day at the market. I bet Tool Man was amused.Hope everyone is having a good dayWe had the usual day of fun, frollocks, and craziness in the market, despite a rather wet and rotten day in terms of the weather. The market was pretty quiet, with quite a few traders failing to show, but Tool Man did OK on his stall. I have been trying to avoid cake, but had a walk up the cake stall with Tool Man, so that he could treat himself to an egg custard (kind of like a large custard pie). As we walked back to the stall, chatting, with Tool Man holding out his custard like he had just won an Oscar, we heard a shout some distance behind us. We stopped, and looked round, but couldn't see what it was. Then we heard a man we couldn't see, shout, "Naan bread!" Bizarre! But then that's Leeds market!
We resumed our conversation, and walked on, but then heard the loud cry again, "Naan bread!"
"What's he saying?" Asked Tool Man.
"Something about naan bread." I replied.
We concluded the man was a fool, and continued on. But then it came again, "Naan bread! Naan bread!"
Looking round we saw a man walking in our direction, and he again shouted, "Naan bread!"
Somewhat confused, we watched him approach, at which point, he said, "I thought you had taken something off my stall!"
I felt a need to defend Tool Man's honour, and in my best Anglo-Saxon, offered to arrange a trip to the dentist, which horrified our accuser, and both satisfied, and amused Tool Man greatly!![]()
What we will do for adventure and excitement, when they finally pull the plug on Leeds Market I have no idea!
