I got in, turned the PC on, and couldn't connect to the internet. I spent some time going through the settings, and discovered that I couldn't get online because it had neither WiFi or Bluetooth connectivity! I rang the guy at the market, who seemed surprised that I needed these!

Yikes! Maybe he graduated from the Tool Man School of Computer Technology and just doesn’t believe in them…

Good morning Guardians. I’m at home today because of a whopping winter storm that dumped a total of 1/2” of snow overnight and this morning. Treacherous travel conditions…if you’re driving a Matchbox car!
Either way, I have the day off so I’m starting it off right. View attachment 2058665

The folks in charge of cancelling school due to winter weather sure are getting soft, aren’t they? I mean, I’d expect that in Arkansas, but not in your neck of the woods.

Our new water heater was delivered yesterday, and the plumber got here promptly at 8:00 this morning to install it. By 8:30 he was explaining to me an additional complication with the flue for the furnace and water heater which will, of course, cost me even more.

Congratulations Steve, I like the ones with the 'veins' We did well with that wood, much more character than usual apparently I wonder what happened to all the others? Wright's ran out of Ironwood halfway through, so that run were done in two batches. Here's the other pic

Our new water heater was delivered yesterday, and the plumber got here promptly at 8:00 this morning to install it. By 8:30 he was explaining to me an additional complication with the flue for the furnace and water heater which will, of course, cost me even more.

Hope you get the service needs resolved. I’m more afraid of home service professionals than I am of the Grim Reaper.

The original series was great. I am old enough to have seen the first airings, and I watched so many reruns (favorite episode is "Arena." Don't have the number memorized!). Classmates and I would give each other "nerve pinches" and collapse at our desks.
I have an artist friend in Dallas who has been to many conventions--Star Trek and comic. He got to hang out with Stan Lee and other famous writers and artists. Once he accompanied Shatner for the day.

That's the only Star Trek I've seen Vince I remember watching the Pilot when it was first screened here

LOL! The guy spent the previous 2 days trying to persuade me how ancient my old PC was, so I made the point that even THAT had WIFI/Bluetooth as standard! I've since realised he's installed the drives wrong, and it's indicating the internal battery is low

I've got far worse Bob! I have bought knives, which were almost completely ruined, to get a particular jigging pattern. I bought this old Thomas Turner Lambsfoot for the bolster, which I'd hoped to replicate
