That's pretty cool Barrett, it's a beautiful building in my opinion. The 'Boots', on the right, is the pharmacy where I pick up my prescriptions!

It is a beautiful old building. I recognized that entrance immediately from some of your photos you’ve posted before.

That's Fish Row, at one time both sides were lined exclusively with fishmongers. Now there's less than a handful. Butcher's Row was closed "temporarily" about 7 years ago Right at the top, you can just see the entrance to Barber Brian's!

I think that episode was from 2009, so I figured there would probably be quite few things seen in the brief glimpses of inside the market that would no longer be there. It’s a shame so much has closed.

I liked the flirting-with-trademark-infringement name of chicken place in the background, Ken’s Tuck-In Fried Chicken.

I usually listen to the radio or music on my way in to work. I just drove in complete silence. I don't know why. I just did.

It's cold here as well this morning but not quite as cold as you, -10 with a windchill 0f -25°

Unfortunately, that is what has rendered it subject to gentrification

They did unfortunately Barrett, hard to believe palms weren't greased! Forget how much money was squandered on it now Thankfully, it's an entrance few people see, I should go down and photograph it covered in pigeon $%@£!

When they closed Butcher's Row, and evicted all the businesses in the row of shops on the outside of the market, it was supposedly for renovation. Then they announced they were going to bulldoze the shops, and replace them, and Butcher's Row, with an "Apartment Hotel", but they seem to have run out of money now, so who knows what will happen. They're set to remove 80 stalls from the outside market soon

I imagine that Ken's Tuck-In Fried Chicken might have gotten a cease and desist letter from the Colonel.

LOL! I think the £5,000 a month rent might have had an even bigger effect than the Colonel!

Such busy times here - but I had a edc rotation the other day and my Stag AC went to bed for a while and I have another Lambsfoot waiting for me to come home in 4 days to touch up the edge.

Good Monday to everyone. If there is such a thing. A little shellshocked this morning.Its -25 out there. Texas is definitely on my mind right now. I will avoid being outside at all cost. My co workers think I'm a wuss . Got the stag demascus today. Hope everyone has a good one today.
