Thanks Charlie, not sure what you mean by “Ralph” though.Wow!!! Streaked Ebony, Ralph??
They did unfortunately Barrett, hard to believe palms weren't greased! Forget how much money was squandered on it nowThankfully, it's an entrance few people see, I should go down and photograph it covered in pigeon $%@£!

When they closed Butcher's Row, and evicted all the businesses in the row of shops on the outside of the market, it was supposedly for renovation. Then they announced they were going to bulldoze the shops, and replace them, and Butcher's Row, with an "Apartment Hotel", but they seem to have run out of money now, so who knows what will happen. They're set to remove 80 stalls from the outside market soon

LOL!I think the £5,000 a month rent might have had an even bigger effect than the Colonel!

Another e-learning day, sleet and freezing rain overnight. In town the roads aren’t bad but the country roads are pretty slick. Pile side today. View attachment 2064468
Sorry!! A senior moment!!Thanks Charlie, not sure what you mean by “Ralph” though.
That really is a nice look backside.I usually forget to take pile side photos, which is a shame, really, because some my Lambsfoot knives (especially the Guardians SFOs) have nice looking backsides. Here’s a pile-side photo I did a couple years ago while doing a tasting of several Sam Smith’s offerings. (How long until it’s drink-beer-outside-weather again…?)

Yes, but somebody calls their lamb Ralph, I think, so that’s where I thought you were going!Sorry!! A senior moment!!
It's Todd, right???![]()
Far right stag is the knife I am holding in my hand right now. Just happen to pull it out of my pocket and the stag matches perfectly. That is too cool. I am very lucky to own it.It's a shame I don't have better pics, that was just a quick snap to send out by email2019 was a busy year for the Lambsfoot pattern

Almost tropical!
Maybe you couldn't hear the radio with ear-muffs on?!![]()

Super-cool!![]()

Very good![]()
![]()
Unfortunately, that is what has rendered it subject to gentrification![]()
It has changed massively since then Barrett![]()
There have been some good ones over the years! That stall is long gone though unfortunately. I think there's only 2 of the original stalls left on that row

Is that lamb blood?
He wouldn't listen!Would that have been your advice to van Gogh?![]()
Looking good David
Yeah, some paint, and a few hours work! How grand.I like how the proposal looks like some sort of 3D structure, when in reality they just painted a wall.
![]()
Yeah, I'm glad they did! They probably closed down 30 or 40 thriving businesses, all of which they could have been getting rent fromI remember you posting about that renovation, too. Maybe it’s for the best they ran out of money, although I imagine it isn’t doing much good sitting there empty/unused, either.
He'll have to move to another stallWill the Tool Man be affected by the removal of the outdoor stalls?
Well that probably didn’t help either.![]()
That's some nice horn there Barrett, good to see one from that run, particularly the pile-sideI usually forget to take pile side photos, which is a shame, really, because some my Lambsfoot knives (especially the Guardians SFOs) have nice looking backsides. Here’s a pile-side photo I did a couple years ago while doing a tasting of several Sam Smith’s offerings. Is it weird that I feel guilty owning this knife? It is a treasure for sure. A lot of fine members who have contributed way more to this thread would love to have it, but me the new guy gets lucky and snags it off of the exchange. This thing just went into family heirloom and will status and will be passed down to my son.I thought it was![]()
