Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Jack

Great photos as usual.

You called them crows, Are Rooks similar or the same? I seem to recall a Rook is closer to a raven than a crow.
Thank you Paul, if I remember correctly, they're all part of the Corvid family, along with jackdaws, magpies, and a few others

There was a certain amount of narcissism going on ;)

The snowdrops were out, as I walked into the woods.

I stopped for some slingshot practice :)

As I approached the end of the woods, the sun finally broke through, the fog dissipated, and the change in temperature left me sweltering

I walked along, on a path between fields, hoping I might see a few newly-born lambs, but I think I was a little premature.

Ale and chips awaited! ;)
What a great park, Jack. Ale and chips were well deserved.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Jack. I'm a lucky guy. Looks like you had a great day. Thanks for the pictures.
Long may it be so :) Thanks Bob, I was back home by mid afternoon, but it made for a nice day :) Left me pretty tired too! :D
Thank you for the link Jack. A great history; one our parks will not have for hundreds of years.
Yeah, some interesting history :)

Thanks for the kind words, guys. He was 90 years old, so I think he got his money's worth. 🙂

Happy to do it. I got three new Guardians added to the map last night.

We used to go to that Bass Pro fairly often, as it’s only a couple hours from where I grew up in NW Arkansas.

Hey, looks like you made it! 😁 Hope you had a nice time.

I’ve got my stag HHB with me again today. No new pics, so here’s one I took a while back.

What a nice axe and a beautiful knife to go along with it!! I'm surprised I don't see more axes posted on this forum in general. Although... perhaps, I've missed the thread?

Either way, great lamb! And I appreciate the Keen Kutter being included!!

There's a whole axe sub-forum if you haven't seen it

Looking good!
Thank you David. 😎👍
Sure is a beauty.
Thanks Harvey. 😎👍
None of my 3 daughters ever took an interest

Cool pic Todd :)
My daughter actually might. 😉👍
After walking down to Charlie's, and having a coffee, I caught a bus to the park I visited last week. It was still pretty foggy, and cold, and I was glad I was well wrapped up.

The coffee in the park cafe wasn't as good as Charlie's, but I did get a tasty sausage sammich, if a rather expensive one

The sun was starting to show through the clouds, and I'd thought that by the time I left the cafe, the fog might have lifted. It was not to be though.

There were a lot of crows around, making a murderous racket, and refusing to sit still for a photograph ;)

I walked down the hill towards the smaller of the park's two lakes...
Ery cool pictures Jack. 😎👍
It's getting some great character, Todd. 🤠
Thanks John. 😎👍
Fell in love with one just like it in 2019 👍😎
Easy to do! 😎👍
Great photos Jack. You had me looking over my shoulder for Edgar A.Poe.
Nevermore! 🤣
It's not as longstanding as Jack's HHB or John's African Rosewood but this lamb is quickly becoming the only one I reach for in the morning.

Looks fantastic Jeremy. 😎👍

It’s been longer than I realized since I’ve posted here. Too many knives, new knives and coordinating my carry with what’s going on because I’m weird, etc. I hope you all have been well.
I was one of the super lucky ones for the Albers lamb. Waiting for that to come in naturally had me thinking I need to get this one back in my pocket.
