Happy Monday, Guardians! I just finished catching up on the last several days worth of posts here. We were in Springfield, Missouri from Thursday through Saturday for my wife’s grandfather’s funeral. Despite the reason for the trip, we had a nice time. The girls enjoyed playing with cousins they don’t get to see very often, after the funeral we had all-you-can-eat fried catfish at one of Great-Grandpa’s favorite restaurants, and we took the kids to a cool aquarium that is part of the Bass Pro Shops in Springfield.

Sorry to hear of your your loss Barrett, but glad to hear it was a nice celebration of life. That Bass Pro Shop is pretty cool. It’s less than an hour from where we like to fish sometimes, and if the weather is bad we usually end going into Springfield.

Finished a bottle of Old Grand-Dad not too long ago, nice bourbon. Pete Angry Waiter Angry Waiter recommended Wild Turkey Rye, my local store was out yesterday. Should be back in stock soon.

Good morning Guardians, Hope you're all doing OK, and still have happy memories of the weekend to carry you through another week. It's really foggy here today, I can barely see my front gate! I'm still going out for a walk though, and maybe it'll lift a bit, and the sun will poke through. I think I'll be putting my BIG coat on though! Got to call in the docs on my way, as they got my prescription again, and I'm nearly out of lansoprazole :rolleyes: Have a good day Guardians :thumbsup:

Got my good buddy ebony lamb in the pocket today. Thinking of my kids at work a lot today and thought I would share a photo. My middle child on the left is turning into a knife guru. That boy is like my shadow. I think a good little lamb and something else might be in store for him for his birthday coming up. He loves the stag lamb that I usually carry. Unfortunately, his little hands aren't strong enough to open it. Well, I guess that could be a good thing lol. Of course, when I find out a little piece of history on my knives, I take credit for the knowledge. I guess I owe you fine members for that. Have a great day everyone.
