Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Prices are going crazy everywhere.
I went to look at a new Jeep Gladiator the other day, and the price was $81,000.00
How long before a pickup truck costs $100,00.00??? Needless to say, we passed on that fabulous deal. 🤣
What is real sad, is that I pay for water to drink. I do not trust the quality of our well water.
As a kid, I would run to the outdoor hose when thirsty. How times change.

As you said last week Jack...get the guillotine oiled up!!
Here we go Bob! :D

Good grief! Beer cost pennies here, for hundreds of years. I paid £6.50 for 3/4 pint n a plastic 'glass' the other week! :(

Terrible :( Have you thought of buying a filter Bob, might be cheaper than bottled water?
Good Morning Guardians and Happy TEWsday !

I should give the idea of a filter more thought.👍 The problem is..New Jersey is a dumping ground for some serious chemicals. Farmers not knowing the long term dangers would allow chemical companies to dump on their land for the money!! Don't know if they can be filtered out.
Is that the original lambfoot Jack?😁

I've got several travel filters Bob, and they'll filter out everything from heavy metals, to pesticides, to radioactive material, as well as all the usual nasties!

A lucky find my friend! :D ;)

I keep meaning to buy a filter.
Why trust bottled water, either?

They're better than ever  Most bottled water isn't very good for making tea in my opinion, a filter will sort that out. Even if I'm staying in a hotel, I take a bottle with a fitted filter. You can take it through Customs, and just fill it up from any tap at the airport

Simple day ahead of me I thought. Went to start my truck this morning and nothing. Jumped it and drove to work. Walk to my truck to grab lunch and noticed a flat 😆 🤣 😂. I could only laugh at this point. One of those days. Took the rest of the afternoon off to tend to the truck. Had to replace the alternator and patch the tire. I just need ole bessy to hang on for a couple more months.

When I was in the service I never took stock or cared too much about earning coins and all the neat little trinkets one would earn while serving. I would just ship them to my younger brother as he thought they were cool. He gave them back to me last night and it was fun to reminisce of times past. Got two included in the pic with the Charlie lamb that I'm carrying today. Hope everyone is having a great day. Time to grab a beer lol.

Charlie's looking good Paul. May the motor gods watch over you. 😃

Indeed... I drink our well water, but my wife and kids drink bottled water only.

When I lived in Sheffield, the tap water wasn't bad, but then it became discoloured, and we started buying bottled water. When my kids were very young, I would put their drinking water through a Swiss-made filter I had, which was the benchmark available at that time, and drink tap water myself. If only water was as reliable as your Loyal Lamb John ;)

Oh no! At least you have the ability to fix it yourself buddy, most folks here, nowadays, have no idea what's under the hood! 😯 Cool pic Paul, hope you have better luck tomorrow :)
Happy Pi Day...
Did you know that Einstein was born on Pi Day, and Stephen Hawking died on Pi Day... Crazy right?
