Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Don't forget to pay Brian for a "Full Haircut" ;)
I have sacked Brian! :D

Looking good Jer :)

after getting my hair cut, I met up with my pal for coffee in the Corn Exchange. It turns out the schools are on strike today and tomorrow, so he had his two youngest kids with him. They had decided to dress up as "Rock Stars"! :D

We all had coffee/hot chocolate and cake, and offered to buy them lunch, but my mate still had to work unfortunately :(

Normal day for me today. Enjoying some coffee, swedish snus, and the dreaded gas station chorizo burrito. Gonna enjoy the beautiful weather as its going to be 50 degrees!! Got the IXL today. I hope everyone has a great day.

I thought you swore off dreaded gas station chorizo burritos? Proceed with caution ⚠️

Enjoy your eggs Mike! :D
Your workers sure do like their strikes.
Unfortunately the government don't seem at all bothered! 😠 It's almost entirely public sector workers, teachers, nurses, fire fighters, doctors, railway workers, posties, etc, etc. Most haven't had a pay raise for years, and with prices completely out of control, a lot of folks in employment, even those with more than one job, are really struggling to eat, pay their rent, and heat their homes :(

Good morning Guardians, I hope everybody's doing well, and settling into the week. I woke up to a heavy frost this morning, but it looks like it will be a nice day. I don't mind the cold, so long as it's not raining all day. Despite the recent snow, and a couple of very cold spells, we had a pretty mild winter here, and are starting to see signs of spring. I'm off to the barber's shortly, and then meeting my mate Wolfie for a coffee, all being well. Then I have a few more things to do in town. Have a good day Guardians, and enjoy carrying your Lambsfoot knives :)

Same type of weather there in NC. Frosty mornings and then warming. Goes up to the high 50's F and down to 30-31 degF in the evening. Tomorrow will be a golf day for me. Going into the low 60's. Probably sounds like summer to you (haha)😁. Nice photo of your HHB hanging in a tree. Great contrast.

Good morning Guardians. Hump day today and preparing for a Board meeting tonight. Hope it will be a boring one - hate the ones that get my blood pressure up. Even though I have a concealed carry permit I think I'll leave my Sig P226 at home with my HHB tonight.

Good idea! :D  Cool pic though :)

That does look delicious Jack.
I like the way your lamb has aged.
Thanks Bob, it was tastier than it looked, can't remember the last time I had cous-cous  The piccolino tomatoes were a little on the tart side though, a bit disappointing considering how expensive - and scarce - tomatoes are here at the moment

Not as exciting as Einstein or Hawking, but my wife and I got married on Pi Day 15 years ago. We went out for pizza to celebrate.

Nothing on the kids menu sounded good to Scout, so she got a soft pretzel that turned out to be about twice the size of her head.

I hope you had a great day and have a wonderful evening planned Jack. HHB is looking great as always.
Interesting how these weeks tend to fly by. As a child time never went fast enough, now I search for the pause button.
Glad the weather has cooperated with you Jack. We have had similar weather here on the New Jersey shore. No snow, just cold winds.
Enjoy your day...I will search for a good brunch after a trip to my favorite market. If you can name a fruit, vegetable, meat or pastry, it has one available. View attachment 2116804

The expression of kids that don't have to go to school is always pure joy. Looks like coffee was fun!!!
Very cool picture John.

Thanks a lot Paul, that's very kind of you :) I don't think I'll be doing much, I have some dishes to wash, a few other things, I might ring Tool Man, and maybe watch a movie or something. Got the market tomorrow

Yeah, it was lovely to see them :) I used to look after them every now and again, but as they've got older I don't see them as often as I used to

Hope you're having a good day buddy :)
