Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

It will actually be in the 60's making it truly feel like spring. Hope things change for you soon.
Thanks Bob, drizzle here  Gives us something to moan about! :D ;) I was ensconced in Charlie's cafe, with a coffee and a croissant, and had planned to go into town, but then I received a text saying that a parcel was being delivered, so I've returned home. I might go out again after lunch

Thank you my friend. LOL He takes after his owner... on the napping.

Thanks Pal.

Many thanks J.D.

Thank you Todd. Hope the tooth is better.

Oh MY GOSH!!! I was just telling Cherri how much I needed one of those! uhhh... what is it?😊:D😁😅😂🤣 Just kidding Bob. I did look it up.;)

Thank you Paul. Very kind of you.

Very handsome stag Paul and very big cigar.

Looks perfect.

So what was it? That had a saw?

I skipped breakfast ... oh and I skipped the gym... but I had a healthy lunch... 😀 ... what...?

All the food groups cover in that phot! Very nice Charlie Lamb too!
Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend :) Dwight's pic has me craving pizza, and it isn't even 8am yet! :D I have some work to do this morning, but hoping to get out at some point. Got my Hartshead Barlow in my pocket ;) Hope your week gets off to a good start Guardians :)

Jack, I think that I'll probably do pizza tonight...but not for breakfast. A little too adventuresome that early in the day.🙃 Beautiful photo of your HHB.

Good morning Guardians. Getting a good start to the week. Sunny day but cold.

Your HHB is looking good Bill. It's always good to have a goal...pizza seems like a perfect one.

Thanks Bill :) I don't have pizza that often, and my favourite local pizza place closed down recently, but I would often order an extra pizza, so I had some for lunch the next day! :D I ended up having some reheated chana masala with a couple of chapatis for lunch today ;) Your Hartshead Barlow is looking well my friend :)

My delivery came (a very expensive camera strap), so having scoffed lunch, I'm about to head out again :) Hope everyone is having a good day

I went back into town, carried out some errands, had a vanilla slice in the market, and did some shopping. After the dull, drizzly start, it actually turned into a reasonable day, with very mild temperatures. Thread's near the bottom of the page, so I just thought I'd tell you all that! :D ;)

Afternoon guardians had a request from the family to make breakfast. My son asked for biscuits and gravy. I had most of everything but the sausage 😳.
First run to the base commissary.

Hard to beat homemade biscuits and gravy for breakfast! 😋

Great pics Daniel, I hope everyone enjoyed breakfast :) If you ever visit England, you probably want to skip biscuits and gravy ;) :D

That wouldn’t be very good, would it? 🤣

There’s a series of YouTube videos where British school kids try American foods. It’s usually just packaged snacks/sweets, but there was one where they tried American biscuits and gravy. The progression of the video is pretty funny.

“Who would eat biscuits with gravy?!”

“Those aren’t biscuits! That’s a scone.”

“That is not gravy!! It looks like vomit!”

And then, “Oh my god, that’s so good!” 🤣

Cool picture Tyson!!! I should try some tea. What is a good one that everybody likes? Earl grey? Jack Black Jack Black probably knows a thing or two about tea. Help me out boys.

It's a long time since I last had Earl Grey buddy, I just drink the stuff builder's drink (they call it 'Builder's Tea' here)! :D Teabag in the mug, pour on boiling water, let it brew for a couple of minutes, and then add a splash of milk! :D

Yorkshire Tea certainly seems to be the popular choice amongst the Guardians. 😉 I’ve heard the Yorkshire tea bags sold here aren’t the same as the ones sold in the UK, but I’m not sure what the difference is.

I usually buy PG Tips, another British brand, mostly because it’s available at our normal grocery store. I make mine like Jack described — builder’s tea — with the addition of just a bit of sugar.

I thought Harry Potter had left school by now! o_O🤣 I've seen videos of American kids trying British food, but it looks like those guys are making a career out of it judging from the number of videos! :D Brilliant Barrett, it's got me wanting to try biscuits and gravy now, maybe for the 4th of July?! :D You'll notice, at the beginning when the kid says it looks like a SCONE, (pronouncing it to rhyme with bone), he is immediately passive aggressively corrected by one of the film-makers, who pronounces it to rhyme with none! If he'd done that at my school, he might have been going home wearing some fork face-jewellery! 😒 Typical Sconist! 🤨 ;) Before I started posting here, I think I thought the whole world ate beans on toast! 🤣😉

That's the brand I grew up with Barrett, before the Yorkshire tea mines were discovered! :D ;) That's a great pic buddy, nice mug, and your '19 is looking really good :)

At the hospital with my Dad. He is having minor surgery to remove a cataract. Excuse the hospital bathroom lamb photo. If he is up to it I will take him to lunch a little later. Hope you all are having a great day. Ebony lamb today.

Thank you my friend :)
Thanks Paul !
Yes 3 3/16th
Three inches is where British EDC carry law starts getting complicated. Fortunately, when they drafted the law, they were advised by Sheffield cutlers, who traditionally measure the length of a knife blade from the front of the tang/ricasso to the tip. So the large Lambsfoot blade is measured at 2 3/4" (well, that's what Big Rose measures! :D)? :)
Thanks for the info Steve. Been looking at them. Just trying to figure out if I want to play russian roulette with A. Wright again 🤣 😂.
Rather you than me! 🤣
All this talk about tea. How much of a heretic am I that I like green tea? Straight up: no milk; no sugar. View attachment 2123658

I always forget that I like green tea! :D I've got a load of it in the cupboard. I usually drink it when I'm on the waggon, and forget about it afterwards! :D ;) Nice photo Mike :)
