Good morning Guardians. Starting off a little overcast but much warmer. Going up to the mid to high 70's (Deg F) today. Going to visit a sick friend today - he has had MS for more than 30 years. We will chat and eat sandwiches and drink some beer too. I'll be carrying my HHB.

Hope everyone is having a great day I slept badly, waking up at 4.00am I'm enjoying the light mornings, and longer days though, and have managed to get through the day, aided by 3 cups of strong coffee. It's been a day of sunshine and showers, but the sunshine was nice, and while heavy, the showers were mainly short-lived. We had a good laugh on the stall, so much so that my ribs were hurting, and Tool Man took a fair bit of 'brass'. We had various visitors, including Special Needs Scott, and Ex-Para Steve, who was pleased with his 'ghetto-blaster find

I called in at a local shop, on my way home, to pick up an onion bhaji, and some tasty samosas

I can see why Cassie would think so! Nice looking antler! My Aussie is the destroyer of all toys and chews; about the only thing that lasts more than a few minutes is an antler. Some of them I think would make excellent knife scales (at least appearance-wise).

I had planned to go to Tennessee tomorrow, but thunderstorms are predicted for the whole way from here to there, and being retired, I don't have to go anywhere, so I decided to wait until Saturday, or maybe Sunday. I'm not too sure about this getting old stuff, but I sure like being retired

Dreary and gray today as a precursor to the predicted thunderstorms. The temp has dropped several degrees since I got up a few hours ago.

Two Deer Spend the Night Stranded on a Missouri Rooftop

After realizing it wasn't a prank call after all, officers with the Missouri Dept. of Conservation helped get the deer down from the roof.

I had planned to go to Tennessee tomorrow, but thunderstorms are predicted for the whole way from here to there, and being retired, I don't have to go anywhere, so I decided to wait until Saturday, or maybe Sunday. I'm not too sure about this getting old stuff, but I sure like being retired
