Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Morning, Guardians! Well, I suppose Afternoon for many!

I just collected the courage to carry my nail-breaker Ebony Lambsfoot. (Wish me luck!) I have found that it's preferred use is serving as a pie knife. I rather enjoy myself a good Steak and Ale pie with some Henderson's Relish. Whenever I do so, I always tend to use my Lambsfoot. Relatable to anyone?

Cheers!

Definitely! 🤣
Colourful background to show off Rose Beast Jer

It's my birthday tomorrow, and like most folks, I usually do something special, but I kind of forgot this year, and I didn't want to miss the market, and have Mrs Tool Man have to wash his tear-sodden vest :D Going to go out for food, and a couple of beers in the evening, and the new John Wick film :) Thought I'd carry The Chieftain! :)

I very rarely take much notice of the coins in my pocket, but happened to spot this one in my change today, thought it was quite cool for a contemporary British coin :)

Enticing all around Dwight. One of my favorite lambs.
Thanks buddy.
then said, "They taste a lot better without the shells!"
Haha! I had someone say the same thing one time after watching me peel and eat shrimp! 🤣
Lucy is out of the box!
I love me some Lucy.
Played golf yesterday - beautiful weather but I played awful. That's golf for you. I'm currently in a slump.
Bill I hope Rufus1949 Rufus1949 Bob doesn't join your group. If he does watch him cause that's how he gathers up his custom knife money!
I had a bargain-priced fleece top to pick up from an outdoor shop,
I had a Patagonia coat that was my all-time favorite. It was also Willow's (see avatar) favorite coat to sleep in from the time she was 8 weeks old until she passed away in January. So when we laid her to rest I wrapped her in that coat. Unbeknownst to me Cherri has been looking online for another one all these months and found one on "PatagoniaWorn.com". Just like the old one (20 yrs old) and in mint condition. :D
It's my birthday tomorrow
Happy birthday Pal! And many many more my friend. :)

Carry on all.

Now that is a cool coin. Would make an awesome ball mark for the links. Hope your day is ending on a high note Jack :D
I was quite surprised when I saw it, looked like a hobo coin, at first, like the one below! :D I used to have a big dish of old British coins, some going back to the 19th century, and over the years, I think they have all gone across the Pond :) Thank you my friend, I'm just having a few beers, before an early night :)

Sorry to hear that Bill, but we all have off-days, whatever sport or pastime we pursue :) Enjoy your coffee with your Hartshead Barlow :) Hopefully, your next round will be different :)

Good advice there Bob

It's been pretty dull here today, but Spring is definitely on the way, and I'm seeing more of friends and neighbours I've seen less of over the winter, which is nice :) I called in for a coffee, and a muffin, at Charlie's, and then went into town, where I picked up some shopping. I had a bargain-priced fleece top to pick up from an outdoor shop, and also treated myself to a small head-torch. There was a 400 lumen model at £20, and a better 500 lumen model priced at £30, but I found one of the better models priced at £19.99 at the back of the rack :D I'd been intending to have lunch, but wasn't hungry, so when I had got everything, I headed back to Grumble Towers, walking up the road with my next-door neighbour, and stopping to chat to another couple of them on the way. A nap sounds attractive, but I'm taking no chances with Lucy! ;) :D

My headlamp just died, so I'm looking around for a replacement. What did you end up with?

I've usually bought Petzl Tyson, though I also own a couple by Nextorch that have been pretty good. This wee Nebo is so small, I thought it might be handy as a travelling back-up, or to leave clipped on a rucsac strap. It's the Nebo Micro 500+

Thanks buddy! :D I think I might have a couple of Shakespeare £1 coins somewhere, but hadn't seen the £2 coin until today :)

Good to see you back, John. Glad to hear that your busyness has been for good reasons.
