Jack Black Jack Black Saturday Morning here, just had some mushrooms, onions and eggs for breakfast, only 8 days to go before i can have some Bacon, Lamb Chops and or steak, not that i'm counting, " Yeah Right ". Let the countdown begin. An old rehashed photo but won't take long on Easter Sunday Morning to make a plate look like this. 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 . How you going being meat free ???

I'm managing better than expected Leon, though 40 days is a long old lay-off, usually I just do from Shrove Tuesday to my birthday on March 30th. I missed not being able to have steak and ale pie the other day, and pizza a couple of weeks before, and have had the odd craving, but generally it hasn't been too bad, which has surprised me. I kind of wish I'd foresworn cakes and pastries instead though, I think I'd have found it harder, but at least I'd have lost some weight! :D ;) Well done for sticking it out mate :thumbsup:

That looks amazing Paul, you certainly took a healthy appetite! :D I was just talking about a new Japanese place that has opened here yesterday. I used to eat Japanese food very regularly, but apart from some sushi at Xmas, I haven't eaten it in a while. I might have to correct that soon ;) Hope you had a fabulous evening :) :thumbsup:

Next year. But as mentioned Carbs are a lot harder. I have not had a pie or cake or such for about 4 months, i think. But will have some Buns over Easter. I am cutting right down on bread, it is really hard, i do love good bread.

Thanks Bob, me too! 😁 Two have my mates I'm going for a pint with have Irish birth parents, but I think I'll leave the song book at home! 🤣 I actually found it in the wee library on my street, and thought one of my Irish neighbours might like it. Turned out he put it there! 😁

Good for you mate 🙂 A few years back, I cut out carbs, sugar, and alcohol. Lost around 30 pounds, but I was miserable! 😱☹️😁 After I come back from my trip to Bulgaria, I'm going to have another go, but I love bread, and it seems such an innocent pleasure 👍 I used to eat a lot of pasta, but I'm hardly eating it anymore. I do like my pies and pastries, and have a nice sausage roll lined up for lunch, but I should cut them out really 👍
 
I'm just having a veggie sausage roll I picked up from my favourite family-run bakery. They do regular pies and pasties, and the pastry is amazing, but I noticed they did a veggie sausage roll, and thought I'd give it a go. Probably the best I've had, and probably would have been even better if I'd bothered to heat it up :D
