Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I think it's a good idea, and you get to have something done by our very own @glennbad :) My friend @Reaper AL had half a dozen re-built and re-covered by @jsdistin , kindly gifting me three of them, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results :)

He just doesn't seem to care Michael, there are thousands of little fiefdoms like that here, where incompetents live off local/national funding, or grants of some kind, with little if any accountability  A pleasure my friend, the beers are me if you fancy it anytime ;) :)

Yes indeed buddy :) I have been self-employed for the past 30 years, and while I have certainly had a few headaches, it has insulated me from a lot of office politics, and to a large extent, the idiots that come with that

Was there anymore skinning involved?! :D ;)

Really hope to get back to Yorkshire some day and if so will gladly buy you the beers sir! My daughter recently married and her plan was to honeymoon in the Lake District. I talked her out of it only because she had a one week window... not nearly enough time to see much at all in my opinion!

My like on your post was for the knives -- not the entitled, lazy bum (we have plenty of that here too as Rufus1949 Rufus1949 mentioned).

Afternoon Guardians !

Carrying old Spalty today 👍

Ol' Spalty always looks fine!

After my poor night's sleep, I have fallen asleep twice today! I hope I'm not going to be wide awake at midnight! It'll just be me and Tool Man on the stall tomorrow, as Ray, who takes the stall next door, is recovering from an operation. Hopefully, we'll get one or two others calling in for a chat, during the day :) I'm going to be carrying Big Rose for the day

Hope you rest better than expected and have a great time on the stall.

I took one for the team today. I was at the store to pickup some things and while I was checking out I noticed these. Now one has to tell themselves that buying a tamale from the same spot you grab a Snickers bar from is probably a horrible idea. Well folks I caved in and had to try it. It is the most vile thing ever created by man 😆 🤣 😂. Gas station chorizo burrito has this thing beat by a mile. If you find yourself a little curious, I implore you to just grab the Snickers bar.

I think that does meet the bravery definition: proceeding even when knowing you are in harm's way! LOL

Is that guy wearing a diaper Paul?

Very nice, Dwight. Great horn and awesome pictures !!
Gracias Paul.
Sweet lamb Dwight.
Thank you Todd.
Hello Guardians! Stayed overnight in St. Louis after the hockey game last night in a fun hotel that names their rooms after famous authors. The rooms aren’t really “themed” but there’re a few things here and there.
We stayed in the Bram Stoker room.
Super cool story behind the room you stayed in. 👍
I have 3 lambs in with Glenn
Wow! You lucky dawg!
Your Ellin Lamb is a winner Dwight, beautifully photographed too  I'm grinning like a Chashire Cat!
Thanks Pal! 😁 Have a great time at the market mañana. Say hello to Tool man for me.

Hope everyone is having a good day :) It's been raining all day here, but I put on my formerly stinky Barbour, and walked down to Charlie's for a coffee, then into town. I went to the bank, and then called in the market for something to eat. I was going to plump for Vietnamese, but there was a long queue at the stall I go to, so I headed to the Tunisian stall, which is a bit tucked away. I wasn't disappointed :)

I remembered I had had an email, a couple of days ago, regarding the post box I had for about 30 years, and which I gave up at the end of last year. I was the most longstanding customer, but there were some changes at the office a few years ago, and a new manager installed who turned out to be flagrantly incompetent. At the start of the national lockdown here in March 2020, he just locked the door, and walked away, failing to contact any of their customers, or to make arrangements for the mail entrusted to his care. I had mail I couldn't access for months, but even worse, I lost a number of important parcels, including two packages from @Campbellclanman and @herder  They were closed for almost all of 2020, and had the cheek to invoice me for the 'service'! I told them I would be stopping using the box, and no longer did so, though the 'rent' didn't run out until the end of last year. They then told me that they would let me know if any mail came through for me. I heard from them a few days ago, to let me know there was a letter for me. It turned out there was a small pile of mail, going back to November 2022, including a Christmas card from Stan Shaw's widow, Rosemary. Hopefully, I won't have to go there again 😠

What a mess, Jack! 😡 Glad you at least got some of your mail; too bad those missing packages didn’t turn up. 🙄

Edited to add: Your Tunisian food looks tasty! I have no idea what it is, and I don’t think I’ve ever had Tunisian food, but it looks good!

That sounds like a fun place, Todd, though I’m not sure about the Bram Stoker room. 😳 Were the Stephen King and Hunter S. Thompson rooms already taken? 🤣

Just a normal day here. Charlie lamb today. I have 3 lambs in with Glenn so I don't have my full squad at the moment. Have a great day everyone.

Can’t wait to see those, Paul.

Anyone have any luck with Eric ???

I was able to snag one. Looking forward to it!
