Maybe there was a further extension, or another building, there before Jer?That modest gable wall seems a funny place for monstrous stepped buttresses. Am I misconstruing?

Thanks Bill, just my regularsHope the doctor's prescription helps you. Very nice crisp photo of your HHB Jack.
It must be very rewarding ToddThanks Jack.
Yes, with the exception of one year where I taught a required US history class to juniors in high school in my second year of teaching. Now, that was challenging!
We went to a hockey game last night with an old friend and had a great time.
It’s a little rainy here this morning also but it’s supposed to clear up soon. Sweet photo of your HHB Jack. Have a great day!![]()
Have a great visit PeteHello Guardian ms, just catching up this morning. It’s been a week so far but today will be fun. Our Aunt is in visiting from Kentucky so Greg and I are headed to San Antonio for a visit with her and Pop. I’ll be taking this one. Have a great day.

LOL!I went on a field trip with my son and his 1st grade class to the zoo last year. I really couldn't tell the difference between the animals in the cages and the kids from his class![]()

All the credit in the world for folks that take care of and teach the youth.
Thanks a lot PaulAlways look forward to the HHB, Jack. Awesome photo.
Was it a lambsfoot? On my first day at work, one of the kids pulled a knife on me!
Thanks Paul. It’s been a good while since we were all together.Sounds like an awesome day, Pete !! Enjoy your day with family. Blood lamb is looking ready for duty.

That’s just criminal. Sorry to hear this. Was an official mail location or private? At the start of the national lockdown here in March 2020, he just locked the door, and walked away, failing to contact any of their customers, or to make arrangements for the mail entrusted to his care. I had mail I couldn't access for months, but even worse, I lost a number of important parcels, including two packages fromCampbellclanman and H herder
They were closed for almost all of 2020, and had the cheek to invoice me for the 'service'! I told them I would be stopping using the box,

Thanks Pete, it was very frustrating dealing with them. It was styled as a 'business centre', which I'd always thought was privately-owned, but it turned out to be partly funded by Leeds City Council. I'm not sure what happened there, but there was some sort of coup there at some point, and all the old staff were replacedThat’s just criminal. Sorry to hear this. Was an official mail location or private?
Congrats Todd for the 30 years of teaching. Hope you enjoy your time off.Hello Guardians, went to a district retirement party last night for a close family friend. Didn’t know until last night, but seems I’m the most senior staff member in the district, officially the old guy! Even the folks retiring have less seniority than I do.
Spring break has arrived! Time for Mrs. Bigfish and I to get out of town for some fun.

Yet it probably feels like 40? I lasted 34 yrs. They wanted me out because I was costing them too much $$ on the pay scale. Plus I did not want to be a burnt out Prof. You're a stud... I'm ready to hang it up and I've only been at it for 20 years.![]()
Congratulations Todd on longevity of your career. That's a long time in a maximum security cell my friend.Hello Guardians, went to a district retirement party last night for a close family friend. Thank you my friend.Very cool photo Dwight.
That is unbelievable Jack. How have you managed to refrain from conducting "premeditated murder" and spending your remaining years in solitary confinement?I remembered I had had an email, a couple of days ago, regarding the post box I had for about 30 years, and which I gave up at the end of last year. I was the most longstanding customer, but there were some changes at the office a few years ago, and a new manager installed who turned out to be flagrantly incompetent.
I told them I would be stopping using the box, and no longer did so, though the 'rent' didn't run out until the end of last year. They then told me that they would let me know if any mail came through for me. I heard from them a few days ago, to let me know there was a letter for me. It turned out there was a small pile of mail, going back to November 2022, including a Christmas card from Stan Shaw's widow, Rosemary. Hopefully, I won't have to go there again
Very nice, Dwight. Great horn and awesome pictures !!Congratulations Todd on longevity of your career. That's a long time in a maximum security cell my friend.I have a cousin who received a degree in early childhood education. He has been gone over 20 yrs now teaching kindergarten in Singapore, Guatemala City and Cairo. A most worth and absolutely horrifying undertaking.
Thank you my friend.

It was an extremely frustrating experience Dwight, and the moron in charge is still 'working from home', which is perhaps the only reason I'm not doing porridge! That is unbelievable Jack. Your Ellin Lamb is a winner Dwight, beautifully photographed too
Sounds like a cool place to stay Todd, I hope you packed the garlic!Hello Guardians! Stayed overnight in St. Louis after the hockey game last night in a fun hotel that names their rooms after famous authors. The rooms aren’t really “themed” but there’re a few things here and there.
We stayed in the Bram Stoker room.View attachment 2142441View attachment 2142442View attachment 2142443

As many know, if you enjoy what you are doing, time flies Jack.No doubt! That's a long stint Bob, not many folks are in the same job for that length of time these days, let alone teaching. That kind of thing happens here too

I am having a few days in Whitby in August
When I was in my late teens, and regularly visiting London, I used to stay in an expensive hotel called The Hansel & Gretel Hotel, Where (like Winston Smith) I was also allocated to Room 101. The first time I stayed there, I thought it was very warm in the room, and opened what I thought was a large fitted wardrobe to find the boiler for the entire hotel!
Beautiful Paul![]()
