We tried out a new place in Eden Prairie for dinner tonight. Eden Prairie — not to be confused with Eden Valley — might sound familiar if you’ve seen the third season of the Fargo series.

Anyways, this place had an impressive (if somewhat expensive) list of bourbons, as well as a nice selection of beers. I had a “Taylor beer” from Prairie Artisan Ales that I hadn’t tried before called Vape Tricks. I’m a big fan of Prairie. They’re out of Oklahoma, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen any of their stuff available on draft here in MN before. They make some really interesting stuff, and this sour ale didn’t disappoint. It reminded me a lot of one of my favorite sours, New Belgium’s La Folie, which I haven’t had in a few years.

For dinner I had a burger called The Next Day. Hash browns, bacon, a fried egg, cheese and, in lieu of a regular bun, French toast.

My wife (who I should mention is a registered dietitian) ordered a PB&J burger with a donut for a bun.

Wow I would love that place!

Busy weekend. Basketball, dance class and picked up a new “hobby” A 1974 Ford F250 Ranger XLT Camper Special. It was bought brand new in my town has been here for 49 years! Gonna bring it back to life!

Used the HHB to cut carpet out of the cab!

Very sweet 3/4 ton Taylor. And Ford makes it even better of course.

It’s very chilly here this morning so he wasn’t moving at all.

Great stuff Taylor, you're going to end up with something special there I have a neighbour whose been restoring an old Marina for at least 10 years! I go round for a beer with him, every now and then, and he always insists on showing it to me, and it's hard to spot any progress since my previous visit!

It's a lovely day here, but I have a "window", for my gas service, of 12-5pm, so I'm stuck indoors. If they're true to form, it'll be 5pm, or even later, but if I go out, they're bound to turn up I might go and sit in the garden. If the cap fits eh Jer?
