We are celebrating Victoria's birthday today, part of being in the fading British "sphere of influence""!!
In honor of that other Old Queen, I am carrying this cool old JR Lamb, which is truly a tribute to the Sheffield of Olde!!

Been a busy three days. One medical procedure Monday for Cherri. One today for me. Sunday our grandson Gage graduated high school so we spent the entire day in celebration. Gage just turned 18. He is already an accomplished commercial welder with a couple years experience under his belt. Laser focused on becoming a gas and oilfield pipeline welder. He is currently working infrastructure projects along the Arkansas river but travels several surrounding states as directed. Not bad for an18 yr old in today's world. Yeah, I'm proud of him.

Good morning Guardians, it seems kind of quiet around here, I hope everyone is doing OK, and that your week got off to a good start It's a bit dull and overcast here today, so I'm hoping it brightens up later, so that me and Bod can sit outside the pub (otherwise he has to keep going outside to smoke a 'roll-up'). I'm not feeling at my best today though, unfortunately, and have been coughing quite badly. I don't think it's anything serious, but I better have a Covid test, just in case Since I'm not meeting Bod until 4.30pm, I have plenty of time today, and have no shortage of tasks I need to take care of. Slipping my Albers Lambsfoot in my pocket again, Eric did such a great job of these Have a great day Guardians

Received a package this morning. This will be a regular in my pocket, they got this one right. Fit and finish spot on, and the covers feel so smooth to the touch, nearly like a silk feel. And the wood will darken and age with carry and use, really liking this new addition. .

Even came with a cotton draw string carry bag.

I hope everyone had a wonderful day today. I have been posting with less frequency due to the fact that I am completing the finishing touches on the house before my family gets here. In short.... I procrastinated . Carrying the smooth white stag today. I'm enjoying a nice bowl of Navy Flake at the moment.

Hello All, been a fun weekend followed by some interesting work days. I picked up Dad on Thursday and we went to to the coast to see Greg TXGatorbait

What a great time. Got to see the Niece play a game of softball where she hit an inside the park home run and play second base/SS followed by a great morning on the water. We had a great time. Greg even graciously tuned up my Albers! It’s wicked sharp, I mean surgical.
