Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

There’s a fast food chain here in the US (I don’t know if they have any international locations) called Arby’s that specializes in roast beef sandwiches.
Here's my version. Today's lunch, some Rump Steak cooked on Cast Iron with some wholemeal fresh Italian split vienna loaf of bread from the market this morning. And butter of course. :p :p :p 👌.

Not too long before the family joins you, is it? I figure you’ve got a whole summer of (hopefully) lovely weather to convince the wife. After that…

 ;)
Well he must be doing something right. 🙂
Probably Vegan, never drank nor smoked. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤫
He constantly chain-smokes, gets drunk frequently, and his 80th birthday celebration was nearly cancelled after his missus caught him playing away from home!
Yeah, the way that was worded in Wikipedia (“Newcastle Brown Ale is no longer sold in the US”) seems a bit dramatic. 🙄 🤣
It did sound a bit territorial! :D
That’s quite a sandwich! 😳 There’s a fast food chain here in the US (I don’t know if they have any international locations) called Arby’s that specializes in roast beef sandwiches. For a while they had a sandwich called the Meat Mountain, which contained every type of meat they had. I think it might’ve been right up Tool Man’s alley.

Good grief! :D Yeah, I reckon he'd like that mate! 🤣
Sometimes the hypocrisy is so blatant it’s astonishing. 🙄
The boarded up stalls are plastered with posters about the 'vibrant' market, with photos of traders who went out of business 5-10 years ago! 🤨

Sounds to me very much like another monstrosity of bland apartments going up.   :(.
About 10 years ago, the Powers That Be closed down all the thriving businesses on Butcher's Row (below), and all the shops that ran down the side of the market, with plans to build an up-market hotel. Work on it began earlier this year 🤬

Jack Black Jack Black Speaking of Markets, just returned from my local market after doing my Friday morning shopping. Bought some Gummy Shark that you were enquiring about.   Will post some photos of it later. 😁
Nice one mate, look forward to seeing your catch ;)
If anyone is wondering why i am making so many posts, Trying To Get My Post Count Up For The Forum Knife. 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤫🤫🤫
So long as it's a Lambsfoot! :D ;)
I can see why you were disappointed in it.
I was Wright's biggest customer at the time :(
Some nice patina on your Hartshead Barlow Tyson, I hope you had a pleasant evening :)
Cool pic Dwight, that burl is on fire! :)
Out walking the line today and promptly dropped the knife on concrete, chipping the woodView attachment 2197951
Blimey :( Well, at least the covers weren't bone --

Looks very tasty Leon, cool pic  :)

Good morning Guardians, Friday again, and we have another 3-day weekend. That's 3 this month, I wish they'd space them out a bit more! I'm doing some work this morning, then off to the dentists in the afternoon, and into town to get some shopping. Thought I'd carry my 2018 Guardians SFO, in ebony, today :) Have a great day Guardians, the weekend is nearly here

Beautiful Ebony. 👌

Jack Black Jack Black Here are some pics of the Gummy Shark fillet i bought at the market this morning. Notice i said " Fillet " as in singular. Have Charlie's lamb as a comparison, it is 7 inches long exactly when opened, so the fillet is about 20 inches long. Will get 3 feeds out of it, here is tonight's waiting to be cooked.:p:p:p.

There's the secret to longevity.
LOL! :D He's lucky that Mo, his large, and notoriously tough, missus is getting on a bit too. Tool Man told me a story about how they were once having a day out in Knaresborough (below), and she picked Billy up, and threw him in the river, best suit and all! 🤣

That's an impressively-sized fillet there Leon  The fish looks pretty good too :) Fishmongers here used to sell our most common shark (Lesser-Spotted Dogfish or Tope) in fillets, but it was only ever briefly popular during the so-called 'Cod Wars' of the 1970's, and then not very. On the only occasion I bought shark to cook myself, in the late 1980's, it was sold as a steak, and I think it may have been a different species
