Fabulous photos Steve :)

Thanks David, unfortunately my mate's missus is not well, so we had to miss our walk. I had a stroll down to Charlie's for coffee and cake, and did some plinking indoors :) That watermelon me ealk. akes for a cool background to show off Ethan :)
Sorry you didn't get to go for the walk. Thank you Jack! 🤠

Hello Guardians!!! Had a great day. Memorial Day hit home for me harder than usual due to my clutch of rugrats not being here pulling me in a million directions. It was good to take the time and just reflect on a lot of things. Had to go American with the lamb today so I tossed the Charlie lamb in the pocket. Hope everyone had a great day.

I hope everyone had a nice three-day weekend. Eleanor was off school today, and my wife had to work, so I took the girls to see an early movie. We almost always go to same theater, which is in the mall where they filmed the Kevin Smith movie Mallrats.

We had a slight hiccup getting to the movie on time. There’s a Target store located on the opposite end of the mall, and we usually park there, buy candy at Target for a fraction of what it would cost at the theater, then walk through the mall to the theater. Well our movie started at 10 am, and the mall doesn’t open until 10. The door closest to the theater opens early, but the door that gets you from Target into the mall was still locked when we tried to get through it at 9:55. So I had to get both girls back in the truck and drive around to the other side of the mall. We were a couple minutes late, but we didn’t even miss any of the coming attractions (just the ads they show before them).

This was Scout’s second time going to a movie theater (her first was on her birthday a couple weeks ago). She didn’t do quite as well sitting still and staying quiet as she did that first time, and it was just the girls and I this time, where before my wife had been there, as well as my mom who was visiting, but it wasn’t too bad.

After the movie we grabbed lunch, then headed home for Scout’s nap. (She’s almost done with naps, but when we have busier mornings she’ll still usually take one.) I did have my stag HHB with me today, although this is a recycled photo from another time Eleanor and I went to a movie recently. 🍿

What a homecoming it will be Paul. Silence is golden, but rugrat noise can't be beat. Charlie is looking good.
Dwight, you found the perfect spot to capture the beauty of your knives...such great jigging.👍🏻

Thanks David, hopefully I can get out soon :)

Sounds like a great time Barrett, and that photo is definitely worth repeating :)

Good morning Guardians, I'm very late posting today, as I've been dealing with some internet problems, which still aren't fully resolved. I'm going to have to put them on hold for a while, as I need to go into town, and I need a shave first! Hope you al have a smoother start to your day, and that you have a good one. I'm carrying my old reliable Hartshead Barlow :)
