Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Wow Steve, that's a really nice flock  Some real beauties there :)

I hope this coming week is easier for you Duncan, and that you're not rushed off your feet as much as you usually seem to be. Hope you're doing OK my friend

Sadly, there is still so much much we don't know about the Lambsfoot pattern, and possibly we will never know. Sadly, the Sheffield cutlers didn't write much down, even about such a significant pattern. All we know is that at some point in the mid 19th century, a firm started making a Lambsfoot knife, and very quickly, the pattern was so successful, that hundreds of Sheffield cutlers were making it

Very eloquent Leon :) Hope you enjoyed your breakfast mate :)

Thanks David, don't think I'll be doing much :)

Quality pic of your cool K'roo Bob :)

Good morning Guardians, and Happy Father's Day to all the dads! :) It's set to chuck it down here later, but I'd like to get out and do some gardening before it comes. However, I'm still suffering a bit with my back, and don't want to make it worse, so I'll have to see. Plenty of other stuff to do anyway. The bus-drivers in Leeds go on indefinite strike today, so it's going to be an 'interesting' week. Hopefully it'll be resolved soon, unlike the Sheffield bus strike a few years back, involving the same bus company, which went on for 3 weeks, before the drivers won their case. I remember going over to Sheffield, totally unaware of the situation, and there was tumble-weed blowing through the city centre! I thought I'd treat myself to a Double Lambsfoot Day today, been a while since The Yorkshire Rose was last in my pocket :) Have a good one Guardians

Thanks Duncan! :D I used to know that band very well, one of them lived on the next street to me. Quite an unlikely hit really! :D You're a trooper my friend :)

Not sure what is going on here, but it put a smile on MY face! 😁

Yeah, maybe Bob, thanks buddy :) The pain is not bad, but I'm worried about making it worse, and annoyed that the cause of it was an examination! 🤨

🤩 amazing collection Steve!
As much as I love seeing all of these SUPERB Lambfoots - the older ones really make me sit up - like this one by our friend Steve - Wow!

Terrible lack of absence in the forums lately - things have been quite a struggle lately - getting back up on my feet :)
Hope things sort out soon Duncan

Happy Fathers Day to the Dads! Took the dogs for a brisk walk this morning. Our afternoon heat index is scheduled to be 110-120 degrees. Yikes! I’ll stay inside and do some chores. 🩸🐑 gets the nod today. 😎😃
