That's Bodhidharma, the first Zen patriarch, Daruma in Japanese, who in Japanese is often represented as a rolly polly that gets knocked down but gets up again.Looks like a great place to live!Is that Cut-throat Jake with OTW Jer?!

Great to see you here Kevin, hope you're well
My apologies to Bodhidharma, that's very cool JerThat's Bodhidharma, the first Zen patriarch, Daruma in Japanese, who in Japanese is often represented as a rolly polly that gets knocked down but gets up again.
I brought it back from Japan for my Dad, so it was an unwitting fathers' day post, as well as a tub-thumping post.

Good morning Leon, and I hope you have a good week ahead mateGood evening Guardians, Monday Morning here and just waiting for the coffee machine to warm up. Hope you all have a good week coming up and stay cool over yonder. Got some nice patina going now on my latest addition. Have always said naturally developed patina is better than forced. My opinion only, but one thing that is certain is that patina and use and carry is the best maintenance for carbon blades. Have a good one.

Good morning Leon, and I hope you have a good week ahead mateNice to see the patina starting to form on your new Lamb, gathering it is too enjoyable to rush!
You are 100% right in my opinion

Brother had venison and sausage burgers grilling.
We call that "chicken fried steak" here in Texas.Happy Fathers Day to everyone. I you all had a memorable one.
We are at the halfway point on our road trip. Stopped for the night in Guthrie, OK. Found a very awesome diner and could not pass up the country fried steak. Had the K'roo for the first leg of the trip.

Great pic buddy
I really enjoyed this post, and must have read it half a dozen timesGot up to my brother's and pull to the barn. I called out "can ya skin griz?" To which the reply came "is that you rooster?" "It's me" I replied. Brother had venison and sausage burgers grilling. I brought baked beans so we ate good this afternoon.

Small world!I thought it was interesting that you stopped in Guthrie, OK. Youāll see why a bit further down in my post.![]()
Wierdos!Thatās what we always called it in Arkansas, too, but to be honest, you can call it either and Iād happily eat it, just as long as you didnāt put shredded cheese on top of the gravy like they did the first time I ordered it here in Minnesota.![]()
Aw!Eleanor and I went downtown tonight and saw Into the Woods at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis. It was a lot of fun, and Eleanor said that she liked it even more than the production of A Christmas Carol that we saw there in December (which was also great).

That Endless Bridge is cool Barrett, am I right in thinking it's used for loading, like this elevator on the Grand Theatre in Leeds, (which I find impressive, but is not architecturally striking)? We got there a bit early and had time to walk around the outside of the theater (something we couldnāt do in December, as it was dark out even before the show started, and cold).

Unfortunately, because of the trees, you canāt really get a picture of the theater and its cantilevered āEndless Bridgeā in one shot.

Thanks for the cool pics my friend, I'm glad you were able to take your Albers LambThe theater is right next to the Washburn āAā Mill ruins and the Mill City Mueseum. I took a photo today of the old grain elevator and itās iconic Gold Medal Flour sign, but the lighting was bad and my photo didnāt turn out very good, so instead Iāll just include these pics I that took a couple years ago when I was showing Merle around.

Anyways, we had a great time, and I managed to sneak a pic with my Albers Lambsfoot at intermission.
