Doesn't it just?! :eek: I wondered if they had messed up the brewing process, but you'd think they'd have noticed before canning! :rolleyes: It was flat, incredibly sweet, and lacked any other flavour, absolutely disgusting! 🤮 I'm glad I just got one can of that :thumbsup:

It turned a nice, sunny day Paul :) I sat outside the pub, with my friends, and their kids, and when the rain came, we were protected by a large umbrella. After a couple of pints, my friends headed home to get the kids ready for bed, and I was walked home, catching a second bout of lighter rain, which beaded up on my new 5.11 shirt ;) Thanks a lot buddy, I hope you got some rain too :) :thumbsup:

LOL! :D It is the first time I've noticed that Hendrick's, which is very popular here, is distilled in Scotland! :D I remember tasting neat Beefeater as a child, (as you do!), and the perfumed taste didn't particularly appeal to me ;) There has been a Yorkshire gin renaissance over the past 10-15 years, with scores of distilleries springing up. I used to go in a bar, where they had a shed-load, and early one evening, I was talking to the barman, and happened to mention that gin was my least favourite spirit. He poured me a glass of a Sheffield gin, which tasted more like vodka! :D I also had some friends who went to Panama some years back, they live back in Catalunya now, where Ferran is from, but Terra (or 'Terror' as we knew her), was Pan-Am! :D The national drink of Panama is gin and milk! 🤮 When they came back, they brought copious amounts of spirits with them, and insisted we tried gin and milk. On the first sip, we all agreed it wasn't quite as disgusting as we imagined, an opinion which changed with the next sip! :D My friends had brought bottles of Panamanian gin, rum, and vodka back with them, all were similarly labelled, and all tasted like vodka/ethanol! 🤣

Good morning Guardians, the sun is just coming out here, and hopefully it's going to be another day. I'm feeling a bit lazy, so I'm just going to get a shave, and see what the day brings. Probably going to have a walk down to Charlie's at some point ;) Hope everyone has a great weekend, and that you enjoy carrying your Lambsfoot knives :) Think I'm going to carry some Damascus :thumbsup:

Thanks buddy, I had one or two ideas in mind for today, but I have quite enjoyed just pottering around, and listening to the radio. I've been invited round to one of my pals for a few beers later, and the friends I went out with last night are going too, along with their kids, so it should be a nice evening :)
