Good morning Guardians. Sunny morning - finally stopped raining. Real downpours. Been doing mostly indoor kitchen stuff like slicing melons, etc.

LOL!The Teletubbies sang Good Morning Starshine, from the American Tribal Love Rock Musical Hair?
They had better taste than I've given them credit for.
Not that that chorus is the best part of the song.

This is my first bottle of Hendrick’s. I grabbed it on a recommendation from a friend. It won’t be my last bottle.LOL!It is the first time I've noticed that Hendrick's, which is very popular here, is distilled in Scotland!
I remember tasting neat Beefeater as a child, (as you do!), and the perfumed taste didn't particularly appeal to me
There has been a Yorkshire gin renaissance over the past 10-15 years, with scores of distilleries springing up. I used to go in a bar, where they had a shed-load, and early one evening, I was talking to the barman, and happened to mention that gin was my least favourite spirit. He poured me a glass of a Sheffield gin, which tasted more like vodka!
I also had some friends who went to Panama some years back, they live back in Catalunya now, where Ferran is from, but Terra (or 'Terror' as we knew her), was Pan-Am!
The national drink of Panama is gin and milk!
When they came back, they brought copious amounts of spirits with them, and insisted we tried gin and milk. On the first sip, we all agreed it wasn't quite as disgusting as we imagined, an opinion which changed with the next sip!
My friends had brought bottles of Panamanian gin, rum, and vodka back with them, all were similarly labelled, and all tasted like vodka/ethanol!

Love seeing that one, have a great day Jack.Good morning Guardians, the sun is just coming out here, and hopefully it's going to be another day. I'm feeling a bit lazy, so I'm just going to get a shave, and see what the day brings. Probably going to have a walk down to Charlie's at some pointHope everyone has a great weekend, and that you enjoy carrying your Lambsfoot knives
Think I'm going to carry some Damascus

Absolutely my friend, I know what you meanThanks Jack. I still love a great sunset, but there is something really special about sunrise.![]()
It's a good, strong knife that cuts just fine. It came with a coping-type point that I rounded down, and TEW's nail-nick stamp raises an eyebrow above the nick which compromises the lambsfoot's sloping back. Better than the wharnefoot points on their smaller ones, but those cut, too.How do you find that one Jer?![]()
That is a really nice stag coat you have there, Steve. May the sky open up for you.Good morning Guardians and Happy Saturday !
We will hopefully get some rain later today as it's badly needed.
Some stag for Stagurday
