Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Hooe everyone's weekend is going well. Got Calamity riding in the pocket today. I just noticed how filthy my work truck is. Hopefully the "rain" that we were supposed to get washes it up some. Got work today and then driving to Chicago to stay with family friends for a couple days.

Hope rain holds off until you are home. Have a safe trip Paul.

Went out for beer and pizza tonight. The Albers Lamb just keeps finding its way into my pocket. 😁

The beer was a hazy IPA called Verbal Tip from Falling Knife Brewing in Minneapolis. Juicy, citrusy, 7.3%, pretty good if you like this sort of thing. Pizza was buffalo chicken with bacon and blue cheese with some ranch on the side.
Looks and sounds like you had a great night, Barrett. Albers is looking great my friend.
Great-looking stag Jeff

Looking good Pete :)

Ethan looks ready and willing David :)

I hope you got that rain Steve :) Many thanks for taking these pics, that stag is definitely cut a lot better than Wright's generally do it today, cutting it too thick, and then grinding off the bark, or at best, only slimming it down at the bolsters

Thanks Dwight, it was very pleasant :) When I returned home, I watched the 2011 sequel to The Wicker Man, which I had only heard of a few hours before. Same author, and director, but really badly made rubbish! Christopher Lee is in the movie about the same amount of time as he's in the trailer! 🤣

Another fabulous photo my friend, I love the covers on your Hartshead Barlow

Thank you Jon, it's one of my favourite locally-brewed beers, though I usually have it on draught, rather than canned :)

Looks like a great night out Barrett, thanks for taking us along buddy :)

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is having a great weekend :) It's another lovely day here, but I have quite a bit of stuff I need to do indoors, unfortunately :( Hoping I can get an hour out in the garden, at least, later ;) Carrying my Albers Lamb again  Have a good day everyone

Hope the day goes well, Jack. Glad the weather has cleared up some for you. Albers is looking spiffy these days, buddy.
That is a beautiful lamb, Bob. Have a nice day my friend.
Fantastic shot of your lovely K'Roo Bob

That's good to hear Steve, it's very warm here, but I think we have some rain forecast for this evening. Hope so, as it'll save me watering the garden ;)

My indoor chores have included cleaning out the catch-box for my slingshot ;)

I need to go get a slingshot. Got a lot of open space now. The kids would love it. Any brands that you would recommend?

Thanks buddy, I've been in and out a few times, but I haven't seen too much of the sun I'm afraid. Think we might have some rain later, and the forecast is good for tomorrow :)

I bet they would :) You should check out the slingshot thread. SimpleShot do some great designs, the Scout LT is popular, and I also like The Sparrow

Has anyone heard from cigarrodog cigarrodog lately? It’s been a couple of weeks. I sent Harvey a PM last week with no reply. Texted his phone this morning and it didn’t show as being delivered. I’m a little worried 😟.
Sure hope he's OK 🤞If you speak to him, please tell him to call in, and say 'Hi'
Good morning Guardians !

A welcome cool down after some much needed rain overnight 👍

Ha dry dish for sure. That Albers is one fine Lambsfoot knife my friend!
Thanks Bill, bucatini, garlic, diced salami, piccolino tomatoes, and good olive oil :)
Good afternoon/evening Guardians. Feeling a little peaked today so I think a nap is in order. HHB with me. Sorry about the photo being just slightly out of focus - much like the way I feel.

They'll be good, but want a full report when consumed. :) :) :) . Green Zebra are the best Toms i have eaten
We have been harvesting a few ripe ones lately. They are delicious and quite sweet. We planted them last year too.

Thanks Jack.
Carrying my Albers Lamb again
I don't believe I've ever seen another wood burl with such consistently "over the top" grain.
Dwight, does that knife charge you to pose so well? Very nice.
Yes but he has a lay-a-way plan that is reasonable. Beautiful K'roo Bob.
