I was not dressed like him

Had a great day on the links. Hope your day was good as well, buddy.
That's good news Paul!

Thanks Paul, I've had a pleasant, but uneventful weekend
I am my friend

That's good to hear Duncan, it's great seeing you here
Still...a great photo Jack, as usual!!

Getting there my friend!
Thanks for the compliment, another shot of Harvey's.
Oh man, that is some serious richness going on with that plate Jack!

Ok, I'm officially hungry now!
Thanks you for the kind words Dennis
My earlier posts were not very successful. I've been fighting an inner ear issue that has hit me with some bad vertigo, headaches and vomiting. I'm not a great photographer as it is, but boy, couldn’t figure anything out! So here's an attempt at redemption. Some local shots from around home.
Have a great Monday Guardians!
Great pics mate, but I'm really sorry to hear about your inner ear problem, I had labyrinthitis some years ago, and it was rotten! Took some getting over too

I hope you're recovered soon Dennis
Hanging around the house, avoiding the heat, listening to records with the ebony '18 in my pocket.
Glad you're having fun Kevin, cool pic

Fireworks time
EDIT: removed my TC ancient photo I originally posted, and put up my Toole lambsfoot to keep the fireworks rolling!
Great knife, but it’s not a Lambsfoot blade, unfortunately. It’s considered a “short beak” blade. That first run of Ancients been discussed several times throughout this thread;
here’s a link to a post by
Jack Black
from the last time it was discussed that provides some explanation.
Ah thanks

You will be asked politely to remove the photo from the thread, just a heads up. But as Barrett stated, a beautiful knife just the same.
Thanks a lot guys
You're living phat Leon! As the kids say
Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is doing OK, and that you had a great weekend. I'm still unclear about whether or not you folks in the US have the day off today, but I hope you do, and that you're looking forward to the celebrations tomorrow. I know it doesn't compare to Yorkshire Day, but still a great day to celebrate!

I shall join in as best I can, not least by having a 4th of July pub crawl, with Nobber Al, from the market. No chance of getting Tool Man out unfortunately, as he's a stickler for routine, and has his Tuesday swimming club! There isn't actually any swimming, but Tool Man, and his pal Cov, originally met up with some friends to go swimming, on Tuesday evenings, in the 1970's. The swimming didn't last long, when they were old enough to go to the pub

These days, Cov, and some other old guys, who Tool Man confessed last week are not actually original members, turn up at Chez Tool Man, for a few hours, on Tuesday evenings, and talk about engines, and watch him drink beer!

I have a busy day today, as I need to go to war with UPS, and also need to go to the docs, as well as a few other things. Got my Hartshead Barlow back in my pocket, shown here with a nice card Duncan
Campbellclanman
sent me recently, along with a bunch of other goodies

Have a good day Guardians
