Great Looking Knife my friend! Stunning Stag shown nicely in a awesome shot!Good morning !
Just got back from the dog park and it's a lovely morning. Along the fence line at the dog park there are wild blackberries. You can graze on the them as you walk. Unfortunately most are on the other side of the fence out of reach. Well I decided it was worth it to climb over the fence and do some berry collecting. My Old Stag Lamb came in handy clearing some brambles out of the way.
Cassie wasn't too happy about being left on the other side but quickly got over it when I started feeding her berries through the fence.

I kinda went weak at the Knees a little looking at this photo Rob! Stunning!Jack, it's good to see the Blackwell and I'm glad you still drop it in your pocket occasionally![]()
I get frustrated trying to capture a good image of my knives with my phone which leads to low participation on BF. I need to buy a user friendly camera that doesn't require much adjustment to get a decent image. There's just so many options I don't know a good value when I see it. If anyone has a good suggestion I'm all ears. View attachment 2237408
That my friend is a wonderful thing to do, good on you for this lovely thought.A while ago I put in a special order for two Bespoke lambs from Ashley Harrison for Harvey and myself. Harvey wanted a white bone and I’m getting a bog oak. I asked the shop to finish both and I’ll offer the one Harvey wanted here and donate the proceeds to PAWs his favorite charity. Hopefully they will look something similar to these.

That looks good to meI think I have a 15-20 to 1 ratio, so I'd say you're doing good
Edit: Took 23 pics. A half dozen were acceptable, so right in the 15-20:1 range
And its not even that great of a pic
Great knife though

Crazy isn't it?I've heard the same thing and not just from younger people.![]()
It can be frustrating when you have to delete so many photosYes I edit too, at the risk of sounding like a whine bag, I can't tell you how many times I don't get an acceptable image out of 10 to 12 shots, that's the frustrating part.
Jack, I may be a little overly critical of my pictures, when you zoom in on this pair the letters of the stamps are slightly blurry and in general when I have good focus on my tang stamp the blade tip is always slightly out of focus, I guess I'm turning into an irritable, hard to please old man
Thanks for the information on cameras, a point and shoot is a good option.
I always clear my plate though!I bet you never leave there still hungry!![]()
Thanks buddyIt might take some time, but I think we can find it in ourselves to forgive you.![]()
When I was in college, we were moving from one place to another and found a bag of potatoes in the pantry that I think had been there the entire year we lived in that place. It didn’t smell at all… until we moved it!![]()
Thanks mate, disappointment seems to be common with the hot sauces I buy hereLooks good, Jack. Sorry the hot sauce was a disappointment.![]()
We’re out running errands today, and I realized after leaving the house that in the shuffle of moving pocket stuff from one pair of shorts to another, I forgot to put a Lambsfoot back in my pocket.(My usual carry, at least recently, has been one Lambsfoot and one non-Lambsfoot.)
Those are clever GusSharing some photos of the time trials at NASCAR in Chicago. Had my lamb pocketed but it took the trip with me. Tried out an ap on phone to miniaturize a few pics. Sounds idyllic Kurt, great pic!Charlie the turkeys and I make our habitat in California in the little town of Santa Cruz. We’re right at the foothills of the mountains and about a 15 drive through town to the ocean. My cat and I enjoy sitting outback which I figured happens to be along a wildlife corridor. The critters all get along. And I have been enjoying my Old Man Jack teardrop lamb. I think your posting was the first I saw of it. Here’s a pic of my cat and a turkey ignoring each other from yesterday.

Good morning Guardians, struggling to keep up!I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend
I was wondering yesterday if July 3rd is a holiday in the USA this year, and struggled to find a definitive answer. I imagine that, even if it isn't, quite a few folks will be taking it off. I need to do less lollygagging, and get more things ticked off my 'to do' list. Problem is, I enjoy the lollygagging more!
I don't know if it's going to brighten up later, but the weather doesn't look great here today, kind of cool and overcast. Not to worry, I'll think about doing some housework

Have a great day Guardians

Crazy isn't it?
It can be frustrating when you have to delete so many photosWith my small Canon, sometimes it wants to focus everywhere, but on the knife. This one (EOS M200) is better, and still has very simple options, as the touch screen allows me to just tap on where I want the camera to focus. I'm a lazy photographer though, these days, I almost never use a tripod, and most of the options on my cameras go unused

I always clear my plate though! You'd love their harissa Barrett
Thanks buddy![]()
Tool Man is a bit like that!
Thanks mate, disappointment seems to be common with the hot sauces I buy hereI had a good chat with the bloke in the shop, and you were mentioned several times

Thanks Mike, those iPhones take a good picThanks Jack. You're too kind
I'm using my iPhone 11SE for pics. The only setting I've used much is varying the exposure. Otherwise, I'm a point and shoot, and point and shoot, and point and shoot type of photographer

I have been trying to catch up with the Porch like you, Jack, but I seem to keep falling behind. The wife and I are headed for Paris this coming Friday and then to Lyon to catch a river cruise. Looking forward to it. I think your Albers LF knife is awesome. Wasn't lucky enough to snag one this last time around but I got close. Guess I got a little frustrated but I'll giver it a go next time.Good morning Guardians, struggling to keep up!I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend
