Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Jody, that is some huge turtle! Ralf posed for a new picture today, and back in the pocket he went.

Thanks, Jack, "Ralf" was itching to come out and play! He hadn't been in pocket half an hour when the mailman brought two flat-rate boxes full of knives that gave him some fun. Needless to say, Ralf performed smoothly and flawlessly!

Sounds like nice work my friend :)

I'm pocketing some ebony today

Great-looking AC's guys  Have you tried blowing oil through the joint with some compressed/canned air Joshua, usually flushes it out double fast?

I've heard of others who have used that method, but I haven't gone to the get the compressed air myself. I'll have to pick some up and give it a try, though. Thanks for the advice!

The cans are cheap, and last for ages. Just make sure you put a rag behind so you don't blow oil and gunk all over the wall! :D  It should only take a couple of minutes

Do you recommend any particular oil? All I have now is nano oil, which is pretty thick and a little goes a long way.

I'd just use a cheap mineral oil, or even 3-in-1. I sometimes use mineral oil from a Boker oil pen, but it's a bit of a waste to be honest

Thanks Jack! :)

I thought everybody already did this! :D

It only takes a minute guys, if you hold the knife with a clean cloth or a piece of kitchen towel, you'll see the gunk blow out, and keep repeating until you're just blowing oil out. That's what I do anyway

First day carrying my AC!! After a little agonizing, I chose this one, and will pass the other two along to some local friends!
(I wear the natural turquoise for its healing and protective properties.)

The first thing I do with any new knife before opening for the first time is fill the joints with mineral oil. Then I flush until it comes out clean. Some take more than others. :D
