Thanks! I asked for gnarly jigging and that’s what he did.Josh, that is the closest to old school jigging I have ever seen. Very nice.![]()
That is one of the reasons i don't do breakfast anymore, first thing i ask is can i get a pot of tea ???? they always answer yes, but when i explain to them my idea of a pot of tea, they have no idea what i'm talking about.Giving you a tea-bag, and some vaguely warm water,

A cheap pot from a thrift store with a cheap tea bag thrown in it is not a pot of tea, so if they think i am going to pay about a 500% mark up on something i can make better at home, " Good Luck With Your Projects ".

Thank you Jack! I like the extended swedge very much. It doesn't interfere with the nail nick and the opening of the blade. I know its not everyone cup of tea especially on a Lambsfoot blade. To my eye its aesthetically pleasing. Which enhances the enjoyment of the knife.Very handsome DavidHow do you find that extended swedge?

That sounds expensive SidDrinks (tea or coffee) here in the USA at a lot of restaurants is 50% of the cost of the meal unless you are one of the crazy folks paying $20 for a Big Mac I buy for $2 locally when on sale, or ~$4 at the normal price.
My normal McDonald's sausage, cheese, and egg biscuit costs half what a cup of weak drip coffee does!
I think it looks very appealing DavidThank you Jack! I like the extended swedge very much. It doesn't interfere with the nail nick and the opening of the blade. Very interesting David. The Nowill mark is owned by Jack Adams' old firm. They don't make folding knives, but for a long time they've bought them in from Wright's. Currently, I think they just sell a Rosewood Lamb with the generic Sheffield stamp, but they've clearly had some made up with the Nowill mark in the past. That tang stamp doesn't look like one typically applied by Wright's. Maybe Eggington made some knives for them at some point, or one of the smaller cutlers Eggington use themselves? Interesting knifeWhat do you make of this one Jack. It appears to be a A Wright till you get it in hand and it has a smaller, thinner frame than A Wright uses now. Brass pivot pin. Bone jigging is a bit different. The real kicker is the tang is stamped J Nowill & Sons, Sheffield England.

That is identical the the Wright's with the " Jigged " bone, it was one of those that i did a re-dye on because the jigged bone looked like plastic. The Nowill mark is owned by Jack Adams' old firm. They don't make folding knives, but for a long time they've bought them in from Wright's

Wishing everyone a nice relaxing day !
Nice Duo R8shell - both of them look just great!
Good morning, Guardians. I spent yesterday de-cluttering the kitchen table of my half-started projects, and moving some furniture around to make room for Mom's visit. I'm literally waiting for dust to settle.I hope everyone is having a good pre Yorkshire Day weekend.

David said it was a different size, but maybe they are built on the smaller frame? How is yours, in terms of size, Leon? Do you think that tang stamp might have been cold struck? That is identical the the Wright's with the " Jigged " bone, it was one of those that i did a re-dye on because the jigged bone looked like plastic.
Great photo JJ
It seems like the weather is not cooperating for many of us Jack.Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone had a relaxing weekend. It's still raining here, and the rest of the week looks to be much the same. The most we can hope for is 'dull' unfortunately, so it's, literally, a bit of a cloud hanging over my trip to Whitby. If there's the rain, the steam fair will end up as a quagmire, and as I don't have the assistance of Tool Man, taking a pair of wellington boots is out of the question. I hope the fat lump is OK. I have to call in at the docs again this morning, then go into the pharmacy in town, so I see a visit to Charlie's on my horizon. Have a good start to the week Guardians. Yorkshire Day tomorrow!![]()
