Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Enjoying a big cup of coffee with this lamb. It’s going to be a fine day here. I could be mistaken but I think tonight is the Ted get together. I wish I could be there to partake in the fun and rock out with the boys. I don’t have a pair of creepers and my wardrobe is lacking anything velvet or Edwardian. I have an old bolo somewhere. I’ll be there in spirit though with Barry the Ted and Toolman in their fine threads.

I used to eat spam all the time growing up. Cold spam sandwiches for lunch and fried up spam for dinner. I don’t miss it. It’s been many decades since I tried it. I will get some for old times sake and give it another try. Anyway I have another Toolman inspired haiku. It will probably be my last Toolman inspired poem. There is much to admire about Toolman but I’d prefer my muses not bald like me and of a female persuasion.

Yawning massive maw
bites the spam of life today
Toolman savors salt

Brilliant Kurt, well done! 😁 Yes, the Norbreck Castle Hotel ballroom in Blackpool will be swinging tonight! 😁 There'll be more velvet and blue suede than Liberace's penthouse! 🤣 I think you are right to look elsewhere for your inspiration though, my friend! 🤣 Great pic of that wonderful Lambsfoot 😎👍

That's a very good point about Richards! A case of wishful thinking on my part I dare say! 😁 Richards pre-WW2 production does seem to have been quite different to post-WW2, but they certainly never produced a Lambsfoot later.

What do you think to that one-pin construction too, pretty unusual? I only have one Richartz knife, and I'd say it's a little later, but it certainly doesn't have that. So, probably just a bad guess! 😁 👍

Yes, that one pin handle is odd and not what I have seen on other wood handled Richartz folders. (picture enclosed)

A couple of wood handled Lamb Foot models shown for comparison.

Thank you my friend, with the high overnight temperatures we've had here this week, I doubt that anyone has been sleeping great, but I've been doing OK. I do love the Richartz mark! :D Thank you very much for showing those, I hope you're having a great weekend :thumbsup:

Morning all 6.30 Sunday morning.
Kristy had Sat off, so we were out & about got some more tomato plants, fancy new hose nozzle, I do like a hardware shop. Had to go to a different shopping centre, so had a coffee not as good as my usual but ok. You see the Jb lamb in Jack's tweed slip.
