They were tasty BarrettThose looks tasty, Jack. Guessing they arenβt the vegan ones from Greggs that were making the news a couple years back.![]()

And he was one of the smart ones.A few years back, one of our dimwit politicians
The one I had yesterday was a particularly good example, I think you'd have liked it!Interesting. Sounds tasty enough, but I think Iβd still prefer American flapjacks.![]()
Brilliant!
Looks like my hobby of modern folders is getting expanded and more expensive.![]()
Good to see you here GPO. I used to be a modern flipper ( still have some), but have converted after spending time here.
Enjoy.
Bob
Thank you. This seems like a great way to learn.

They were tasty BarrettI got them from the supermarket (frozen) though, rather than Gregg's!
I did try the vegan ones, hot they were't too bad, cold, they were pretty awful!
A few years back, one of our dimwit politicians decided to make a change in the way that sales tax is charged on takeaway food, with hot food attracting a higher rate. Gregg's solution was to remove their heated storage, so if you buy items like sausage rolls straight off the shelf, you don't know if they are going to be hot or cold. I can understand why Gregg's are popular here, but rarely visit myself

Brilliant!
My post was just intended as a clarification to one of the new posters who wandered in here (and into a lot of other threads yesterday) though![]()

I don't think I have ever had a decent bacon sandwich from any of those places mateI had a decidedly mediocre bacon butty/roll/bap at Heathrow when we were leaving after our last visit. I was going to say it might have been from Greggs, but it could have just as easily been one of the other ubiquitous coffee/bakery chains.
It's fantastic BarrettOh, I know. I was just inspired by Vinceβs comment. And hey, now we have that image for future use in case any Guardians step out of line.![]()
