waboom ! :D

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is well, and that you have something exciting planned for the weekend :) Or maybe you just want to put your feet up? :D Either way, I hope that you have a great one, and that you enjoy carrying a Lambsfoot :) Doesn't it make life better ;)

WABOOM !

Sorry you're not feeling better yet Jack

Thank you Steve 👍

Many thanks David, that's a great shot of The Captain 🙂👍

We'll be living on the moon next Jer (I remember folks saying that when 'Pong' first came out)! 😁👍

Good news on the shots Bill (sorry about the sore arms). I was ok with the shots, didn't get much soreness, and no adverse reaction. I think I have had 4 shots, but it's about a year since the last one. They were quick to roll out the programme here, but quick to mothball it too 🙄 I hope you don't get it again buddy. This is my third time, more severe than the last two, but it still just like a bad flu, with a few nasty extras thrown in 😣👍

Sounds like a good time to give it a try Bill (though I have heard advice not to drink alcohol for a day or two after the shots) 👍

Another great pic Jer 😎👍

Congratulations Bob 👍

Good luck Steve 👍

Thank you very much Pete 🙂 I don't know about tip-top shape, but I would settle for vertical! 😁 👍

😎👍
Thanks Jack. Arms feeling much better now and no other adverse effects. One thing about me is that I do not drink much scotch in any one sitting. Just a wee dram. I do belong to a scotch tasters group and then I might down a lot more. Some of these guys open a ton of money when they bring high end scotch to the table. I don't turn any of it away!😄 That's me reaching for the Macallans 25 yr old. My Highland Park was a big hit too.

Good morning, Guardians! This is my first post in this thread -- I admit to being a complete grasshopper in the Lambsfoot department. :D
That being said, Bob Rufus1949 Rufus1949 suggested that I post my newly-arrived Lamb here. I'm finding the Lambs from Titusville Cutlery to be extremely well-made. Great W&T with good snap, excellent F&F, and nicely sharpened. Nice to see these being made available so close to home. Have a wonderful weekend, all! :)

That's good to hear Bill :) I think with really good Scotch, a small measure can go a long way, you can spend a lot of time just smelling it, and then exploring the different flavours, as a drop rolls around your mouth 😋 A Scotch tasters group sounds like a wonderful idea, and what a great setting you have there :)

Welcome to the Guardians Jim, it's great to see you here :) It's wonderful that Lambsfoot knives are increasingly available in the USA, and I hope you find it a useful pattern :) This is a BIG thread to read through, but if you go to the beginning, and read post #1, you'll find some links there, which will hopefully make things easier

A scotch tasters group sounds like a great reason to get together with the guys and drink! 😁 I used to work for a guy whose favorite scotch was Macallan 25. I don’t know that it had much to do with the taste, as he wasn’t a very adventurous scotch drinker. I think he just liked to be seen ordering it at company dinners and such. 🙄 Of course, if he offered, I didn’t refuse. 😁

Welcome, Jim! As you now meet the requirements for Guardians membership (owning a Lambsfoot and posting in the Guardians thread), let me know if you’d like to be added to the Guardians Map.

Cooking was hard work, but I couldn't have managed it yesterday, and I'm sure this hearty Italian soup, packed with parsley, tomatoes, garlic, and onions, will do me good

That looks like it would really hit the spot when you’re under the weather, Jack. Hope it helped.

If there are any other Guardians who are not on the Guardians Map but would like to be, please let me know! (I feel like it’s been a while since I’ve added anyone.)

It’s a fine lambsfoot Jim. I really like the jigging on yours. You need to get another lambsfoot. That is how it goes. You found the right place. Do you like SPAM? Just wondering...WELCOME. Best.

Glad you have an appetite Jack. Your soup looks delicious.👌

Jack I hope you get to feeling better soon. That soup looks like fine eating. 🤤 And that Waboom is😱
Thanks a lot guys, happy to share the recipe, it's very easy to make ;) I'll have the rest tomorrow. I try to cool the liquid down as quickly as possible, with the aim of stopping the pasta overcooking. It still soaks up some of the soup though, so it's a bit different the second day, but I still like it :)

I'd definitely take a slug! :D
